As a guardian of the Counter Force, Emiya Alter had always carried out the job of silencing people permanently. Even though he despised the work, he had no choice but to do it. Many unsolved cases throughout history, incidents with no apparent leads at all, could basically be attributed to guardians in the Moon World.
Shen Fei had always had a question about guardians. As the mighty Counter Force, did it really have only one guardian under its command—Emiya? Unfortunately, unless he personally asked the Counter Force, there was no way to get an answer.
"Are you just leaving like that? You did the same thing last time." Just as Emiya Alter thought his mission was complete and turned to leave, the sudden voice made his body tremble involuntarily.
"It's you. Why are you here? I see. You did all of this." Emiya Alter turned to look at Mabel, who had risen to her feet again, immediately raised his twin guns, and pulled the triggers without hesitation. Bang! Bang! Bang! Bullets poured forth in an unbroken stream, but regrettably, none of them struck Mabel. A cloud of black mist had appeared before her, swallowing every bullet.
"There was once a place where many geniuses gathered. But because they were too brilliant, they were considered too dangerous. Yet in truth, they were not dangerous at all. None of them were evil. The truly dangerous one was the person who gathered them together—a certain female cult leader.
"Later, someone wanted to erase that cult leader. Her followers then fought desperately with their lives to stop him. And because he knew how dangerous she was, he was willing to bear the sin of killing innocent people in order to execute her." As Mabel spoke, the entire church suddenly began to mutate.
