Not long after the alarms sounded, gunfire erupted throughout Chaldea. The new director immediately began contacting his subordinates to ask what had happened.
Although those subordinates were not members of his family but mercenaries, their reputation was excellent. They were a unit specialized in suppressing Magicians within the magecraft world.
"Monsters... black monsters..." As soon as the new director's communicator connected, a series of screams came from the other end before he could say anything. Soon, even the screams vanished.

"Don't look at me like that. It couldn't have been me. I only managed to buy Chaldea after emptying my entire fortune." In other words, he would have to be insane to attack his own property.
