"Disease... Technical Advisor, do we have any relevant vaccines prepared?"
As the visitor hurried off, Director Fatty seemed to finally snap out of it and immediately asked Da Vinci about vaccines for the disease. Servants naturally did not fear infectious diseases, but Fujimaru Ritsuka was an ordinary human.
"Don't worry, we've always been prepared for this."
Though they had never had cause to use them—Ritsuka possessed a remarkably strong poison resistance skill due to her contracts, after all—Da Vinci had indeed prepared supplies for such situations. It was always better to be safe than sorry.
"Although we do have vaccines for epidemics, there aren't many. It would be impossible to save everyone in an entire town. Limited by the submarine's size, all supplies have to be carefully budgeted. For example, we only brought around twenty days' worth of food. For everything else, we'll have to become self-sufficient in the Lostbelt.
"Let the Servants investigate what happened and collect samples first. Ritsuka, don't go there carelessly."
Even with their vaccine stockpile and Ritsuka's powerful poison resistance, Director Fatty still told her not to approach the patients. Whatever needed doing could be left to the Servants. Servants did not fear disease.
"Are you some overprotective old lady?" Ganesh could barely stand Director Fatty's endless warnings to Ritsuka.
"Doesn't seem like there's any problem?"
The group hurried onward and arrived at a small town very similar to Bichu Town. Before reaching it, they had worried that the epidemic would leave them facing scenes of devastation and misery. After all, in ancient times, when there was no way to treat infectious diseases, the usual response was physical quarantine, followed by leaving those within the isolated area to fend for themselves.
The same held true even in an age of gods. Gods were not omnipotent.
