While Shen Fei considered Kamazotz's objective, Da Vinci, Shion, Captain Nemo, Mash, Ritsuka, Director Fatty, Tepeu, and the others held a brief discussion and decided to take the initiative against Kamazotz. Chaldea had no problem repairing the ship themselves, but it would take more time—and time was exactly what Chaldea lacked right now.
So, in order to repair the ship sooner and repay the Dinos for their help, they decided to strike Kamazotz first. Strangely enough, the Dinos were not afraid of the Ocelotl hunting hearts, yet they were unexpectedly terrified of Kamazotz.

"Kaan was a city older than Chichen Itza. No, it should have been a kingdom. They say Chichen Itza was a city revived by the Dinos of that time with Kaan as its model."
