• Jieyin warned Zhunti that Xuanming’s attainment of Dao and the Earthly Dao’s revival could lead the Tribulation to become an Immeasurable Calamity, and said they should wait for Hongjun to summon them.
• Eastern Emperor Taiyi, Di Jun, Fuxi, and Nuwa reacted with shock and anger when they learned Xuanming had become an Earthly Dao Saint and the Witch Clan had joined the Earthly Dao.

Humanity Dao confirmed Laozi had saved enough of humanity and gave him three choices for separating his Original Primordial Spirit from Heavenly Dao, leaving Laozi and Li Yun to weigh the dangers.

• Laozi said he would work with his two martial uncles to suppress the Sky-Opening Axe Spirit and obtain its memories.

After arranging to bring the sect’s participants to West Kunlun, Laozi sealed the Jade Void Palace and apologized to his brothers for leading them into Hongjun and the Heavenly Dao’s trap.

• Laozi arrived at Kunlun with Li Yun’s group, and Yuanshi Tianzun and Sect Master Tongtian told him the Queen Mother of the West had driven them away and demanded an explanation.

After the Three Pure Ones agreed not to retaliate, the Axe Spirit explained that they were Pseudo Zenith Heaven Golden Immortals of the Origin because they lacked the necessary Dao Fruit.
