Li Yun strengthened his cultivation and bloodline, seized two gourds, and prepared to compete in the Three Teachings Exchange Conference. The arc ended with him and Xuandu arriving at Jade Void Palace as the Chan and Jie disciples sized him up.

• Laozi accepted Li Yun as an inner disciple, and Li Yun equipped the Child of Destiny, Great Witch Bloodline, and Top-tier Comprehension Traits before choosing the Nine Revolutions Mysterious Technique.
• Li Yun advanced through cultivation and battles, gained new Traits, and stole the golden and black gourds from Gourd Mountain before evading San Xiao and the Rogue Cultivators.
• Li Yun presented the gourds to Laozi, declined Yuanshi Tianzun’s offer to become his personal disciple, and learned that his bloodline carried Pangu Fortune.
• After drinking Enlightenment Tea, Li Yun broke through to the late True Immortal Realm and transformed into the Pangu Clan, then accepted his assignment to the Golden Immortal Realm arena.

Li Yun dominated the Golden Immortal tournament, defeating disciples from both sects and earning powerful Traits and treasures. He left as the tournament winner, while Guang Chengzi and Duobao faced their masters’ displeasure after conceding.

• Li Yun joined the Three Teachings disciples at Jade Void Palace, agreed to compete, and explained the difficult Nine Revolutions Mysterious Technique before the tournament began.
• Li Yun defeated Cihang and several Chan Teachings disciples with Taiqing Divine Thunder, then overcame Huang Long’s strength and Tai Yi’s Yuqing Divine Thunder.
• Li Yun defeated Da Peng with the God-Slaying Flying Sword and fought Kong Xuan, whose Five-Colored Divine Light Trait Li Yun gained after forcing him to concede.
• Jin Ling, Gui Ling, and Wudang challenged Li Yun together, and he defeated Jin Ling and Wudang, then overcame Gui Ling’s Mystic Water Domain with the Space Gourd.

After the Three Teachings Exchange Conference, Li Yun committed to pursuing the Ultimate Dao Fruit and set out with Yuanshi Tianzun to gather Extreme Five Elements Qi. In the Northern Darkness Region, he refined the Origin of Ultimate Water and accepted Mystic Turtle’s future request in exchange for a promised encounter.

• Kong Xuan defeated Yu Ding, securing the Interception Sect’s tournament victory, and accepted Sect Master Tongtian’s offer to become his fifth Direct Disciple.
• The Three Teachings leaders rewarded their disciples and held a thousand-year sermon, during which Li Yun advanced his cultivation and impressed them with his talent.
• Li Yun’s upgraded system revealed Da Peng’s strong favorability, and Da Peng asked Tongtian to extract his Yin-Yang Origin for Kong Xuan.
• Laozi explained that Li Yun needed to absorb the Extreme Five Elements to strengthen his Dao Fruit, then sent him with Yuanshi Tianzun to seek three of them.

Li Yun traveled with Yuanshi Tianzun and Zhenwu to gather the Extreme Five Elements origins, gaining Extreme Wood, Earth, and Gold while battling the White Tiger Clan and evolving his bloodline into the Ancestor Witch Bloodline. As Li Yun and Yuanshi Tianzun headed toward Kunlun Mountain for Extreme Fire, Zhunti appeared and offered his help in the Western Lands.

• Li Yun accepted Mystic Turtle’s terms, while Yuanshi Tianzun secured Zhenwu’s entry into Chan Teachings by promising protection, the Nine Revolutions Mysterious Technique, and a future Emperor Throne.
• At Wuzhuang Temple, Zhen Yuanzi gave Li Yun the Extreme Wood origin from the Ginseng Fruit Tree and drew Extreme Earth origin from the Earth Veins for him to absorb.
• Yuanshi Tianzun brought Li Yun and Zhenwu to the White Tiger Clan, where Sacred Beast White Tiger offered Li Yun Extreme Gold origin if he passed a trial and accepted Bai Jie as Yuanshi Tianzun’s disciple.
• Li Yun defeated White Tiger Clan Golden Immortals in a succession of battles, absorbing the Extreme Gold origin and gathering Traits as the clan’s Tai Yi Golden Immortals challenged him.
