Background

Xiao Xuan was a Heaven-grade Son of Heaven of the Heavenly Ruins, the elder brother of Xiao Ye, and one of the realm's ten foremost inheritors. His title, Young Human Emperor, was tied to the Human Emperor inheritance he possessed. Even before attaining the Great Emperor Realm, he had reportedly slain a Great Emperor while in the Dao Proving Realm. 684

His enmity with Chen Wen began after Chen Wen killed Xiao Ye. Their conflict worsened when Chen Wen acquired treasures Xiao Xuan regarded as his own, including his Nirvana Fruit and Mysterious Vein.
