The power of knowledge could always accomplish many things that schemes and tricks could not. One-sided information transparency, in particular, could grant professionals a tremendous advantage in action.

In fact, when the caster accelerated toward the entrance of the ruins, there were still at least ten seconds before the patch completely repaired the hole. Given the terrifying speed of Legendary powerhouses, which often exceeded the speed of light by one or two times, delaying someone for more than ten seconds was simply impossible unless the Legendary Mage stood in front of the door and blatantly blocked it with spells.

The scheming caster did not need to waste his breath trying to fool his two "teammates" into taking the lead, because the "teammates" afraid of being locked outside had already flown toward the unknown doorway ahead of him.
