Normally, a god's wealth should consist of both magical resources and divine resources. Divine resources were used for "open and honest" transactions with the Pantheon, while magical resources were used for "less than open and honest" transactions with Legendary spellcasters, especially the legendary members of the Mage Guild. Both kinds of resources were indispensable to deities. It was merely that when a god encountered a crisis, divine resources—which allowed for the most convenient and efficient trade with the Pantheon—would be consumed first.
The former God of Red Sands was a fine example when it came to resource reserves. The reason why most of the supplies left behind in that god's divine kingdom had been magical resources was likely because, when danger arrived, the divine resources most convenient for a god to use had been rapidly exhausted, allowing vast quantities of magical resources to remain.
But the current God of Hurricane, Atedilon... He had presumably once possessed plenty of divine and magical resources as well. Unlike the former God of Red Sands, however, Atedilon had consumed everything he could consume in order to preserve his own consciousness. All his savings had become empty bottles stuffed into broken crates.
Indeed, after the caster and the maiden goddess carefully inspected them, all five chests left in the divine kingdom were opened one by one. Empty bottles of Mind Purification Solvent produced by the Pantheon filled a full chest and a half, while bottles of magical potions of unknown purpose—apparently purchased by Atedilon from some caster—occupied another chest and a half.
Of the final two chests, one held Kane's lance, several pieces of deep-blue scale armor, and a dark-blue long horn. The other contained the weak divine power Hurricane divine portfolio.
