The Eight Vajras remained silent, while the Five Hundred Arhats all lowered their eyes in silence.
Seeing this, Maitreya sighed and said flatly:
"Alas! Fine. Since no one is willing to step forward, I shall choose someone myself."
With that, Maitreya turned his gaze toward Dragon Subduing Arhat, who was at the Taiyi Golden Immortal level.
"Dragon Subduing Arhat!"
Hearing this, Dragon Subduing Arhat, who had remained silent, felt deeply uncomfortable, yet he could not refuse.
He promptly stepped forward.
At that moment, Maitreya spoke.

Upon hearing this, Dragon Subduing pressed his palms together and said:

With that, Dragon Subduing Arhat rode a cloud straight above Black Wind Mountain and immediately struck with the Arhat Overturns Heaven Seal.

In an instant, a tremendous boom rang out as the Arhat Overturns Heaven Seal crashed into the towering baleful aura.
The baleful aura did not disperse, yet another deafening explosion resounded.
Immediately afterward, a headless giant strode out.
The moment the giant appeared, Dragon Subduing was just about to speak when he saw the axe on Xing Tian's back appear in his hand.
"Splurt..."
In an instant, the axe tore through the sky. A streak of Axe Light flashed, and before Dragon Subduing could even resist, he was cleaved in two.
Seeing this, Sun Wukong felt a chill run through his entire body.
