Nara Kaikei became the Fourth Hokage after winning the Jonin Class vote, then delegated much of Konoha’s routine work and turned his attention to Sasori and the Dragon Vein in Rōran. At Shikkotsu Forest, Sage Katsuyu explained the Dragon Vein’s link to the Divine Tree and the Sage of Six Paths, while Kaikei’s Yin-Yang creation quickly dissolved.

• Nara Kaikei defeated Pakura, then proposed that she return to Sunagakure and build support to become the Fifth Kazekage.
• Nara Kaikei released Han with a Reaper Death Seal scroll for his research, informed Minato Namikaze about Uchiha Obito’s Mangekyō Sharingan, and prepared for the Hokage election.
• Hiruzen Sarutobi yielded to pressure for a Jonin Class vote, and Nara Kaikei won the election for Fourth Hokage.
• Hiruzen Sarutobi showed Nara Kaikei the complete Scroll of Seals, and Kaikei learned its jutsu and chose to add the Wood Release Chakra Manufacturing Method.
• Nara Kaikei delegated Konoha’s routine missions to the Jonin Class and explained to Tsunade that the village’s reliance on commissions and bounties was a problem.
• After learning that Sasori of the Red Sands had fled to Rōran, Nara Kaikei decided to investigate the Dragon Vein and confront him.
• Nara Kaikei and Tsunade traveled to Shikkotsu Forest, where Sage Katsuyu described the Divine Tree, Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, and the Sage of Six Paths.
• Nara Kaikei formed a black hedgehog with Yin-Yang Release, but Katsuyu explained that it quickly dissolved because it could not communicate with nature.

Nara Kaikei trained in Shikkotsu Forest, developed its Sage Mode, and led a team to Rōran to investigate the Dragon Vein. He recruited Sasori and helped Queen Sarah expose Anrokuzan, whose capture revealed a connection to the future and a captured Konoha ninja.

• Nara Kaikei sparred with Sage Katsuyu, demonstrated a powerful Sage Gundam, and learned that Shikkotsu Forest could teach him a distinct Sage Mode.
• Nara Kaikei learned Sage Mode - Sage Forest and planned a trip to Rōran with Minato Namikaze, Uchiha Shisui, and Tsunade to investigate the Dragon Vein.
• Nara Kaikei and Tsunade defeated Sasori of the Red Sands, seized the Third Kazekage puppet, and persuaded Sasori to join Konoha’s camp.
• Nara Kaikei’s team discovered that Rōran’s citizens had been replaced by puppets and that a hidden base was producing autonomous metal soldiers.
• Minato Namikaze rescued Queen Sarah after she fell from the palace tower, and the team secretly followed her to confront Anrokuzan.
• Anrokuzan attacked Sarah with metal puppets, but Nara Kaikei restrained him and exposed his monstrous puppet body before Uchiha Shisui trapped him in a genjutsu.

Nara Kaikei learned that Naruto and Mukade had come from another world, secured Rōran’s Dragon Vein, and brought Naruto into Konoha’s care. As Naruto reunited with his parents in this timeline, Kaikei and Shisui began confronting the future of the Uchiha Clan and reforming its place in the village.

• Nara Kaikei learned from Naruto that the Uchiha Clan had been massacred by Itachi, and Shisui awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan.
• Kaikei negotiated Konoha’s protection and trade route for Rōran’s Dragon Vein, while Sarah ordered Anrokuzan killed and later executed Mukade.
• Kaikei sealed the Dragon Vein, but Naruto and Mukade remained in this world, so Naruto agreed to join Konoha under Minato and Kushina’s guardianship.
• Naruto mistook Kushina for the Nine-Tails and fought her until Kaikei explained his origins, prompting Kushina to recognize him as her and Minato’s son from another world.
• Kaikei told Hiruzen that Naruto’s parents had died in Naruto’s world and warned him about the future Uchiha massacre, while Hiruzen suspected Madara had controlled the Nine-Tails.
• Shisui told Kagami that the Uchiha Clan would be destroyed, and Kagami urged him to protect the clan and Konoha before returning to the Pure Land.
• Kaikei proposed opening the Police Force to other ninja, and Fugaku agreed to support reform and reaffirmed the Uchiha Clan’s loyalty to Konoha.
• Shisui said three-year-old Itachi seemed mature and believed in the Will of Fire, then resolved that he had ten years to change the clan’s fate.

Nara Kaikei investigated a new prophecy, sent Minato Namikaze and Uzumaki Naruto to Mount Myōboku, and then pursued a way to wield Natural Energy without relying on Chakra. After studying the Temple of Fire’s techniques and sparring with Might Duy, he returned to Konoha and began forming an Eight Inner Gates Squad.

• Nara Kaikei assigned Hatake Kakashi to watch Uchiha Obito, discussed village reforms with Nara Shikaku, and arranged a visit to the Temple of Fire for Sage Arts materials.
• Minato Namikaze brought Uzumaki Naruto home, then took him to Mount Myōboku, where he revealed that he was Naruto’s father.
• The Great Toad Sage shared a new prophecy about a sun-bright child who would break an unseen bond and bring unprecedented peace, but said the future was not fixed.
• Nara Kaikei considered Uzumaki Naruto and Otsutsuki Toneri as possible Children of Prophecy, then approved Minato’s plan to train Naruto in the Rasengan, Flying Thunder God Technique, and sealing techniques.
• At the Temple of Fire, Master Chūkaku taught Nara Kaikei that advanced sage arts could wield Natural Energy without Chakra, and Kaikei set out to develop a Pure Sage Mode.
• Nara Kaikei studied Hashirama Senju’s Sage Mode and the Temple’s records, then sparred with Might Duy as he opened the Eight Inner Gates and used Morning Peacock.
