Immortal Spirit Hero, Netherworld Sect Master, Ksitigarbha King Venerable!

To be honest, Xu Yang was a little surprised by this result.

Although Immortal Spirits stood at the pinnacle of hero ranks, Xu Yang had not expected the Immortal Spirit rank to encompass such a vast range—not even Ksitigarbha, one of the Buddhist Sect's Four Great Bodhisattvas, was excluded.

Setting aside those worlds of false Buddhas and sham Daoists, in worlds where Buddhism and Daoism manifested openly, such as the Earth Immortal Realm, the Blue Star Realm, and the real world, be it the Daoist Sect, the Buddhist Sect, or other great traditions, all emphasized equality.

This equality was not equality among people, but equality between the Dao and its laws—the equality of the Three Thousand Great Daos, different paths leading to the same destination. The Dao itself had no distinction of high or low. Only cultivators differed, uneven and varied, which created distinctions of superiority and inferiority.

Take the Buddhist Sect as an example. Its three great lineages—Tathagata Buddha, Bodhi Saduo, and Wrathful King of wisdom—were in fact equal attainments.

So long as one cultivated to the highest realm, there was no difference in status among the three. Just like the Daoist Sect's Three Pure Ones Dao Laws—could one claim that Taiqing was stronger than Yuqing, or Yuqing stronger than Shangqing?

Dao Laws were equal, with no high or low. Strength and weakness existed only between individual cultivators.

Ksitigarbha was one of the highest attainments of the Buddhist Bodhisattva lineage. Whether in the Earth Immortal Realm, the Blue Star Realm, or the real world, there existed lineages of Ksitigarbha's great vow. In the Blue Star Realm, where Immortal Buddhas and Divine Saints still existed, there was explicitly a Ksitigarbha Great Vow Bodhisattva, said to be among the foremost Earth Immortals,
