While the Galaxy Battle Tournament was in full swing, Ming Rong was at his wit's end.

"What? The Solitary One is dead?"

Ming Rong listened to the agents' complaints, utterly dumbfounded.

He had tipped off the Special Affairs Department about the threat posed by the Solitary One. He had sounded so certain, as if the Solitary One would charge straight into the Andromeda Galaxy the moment he broke through.

Then his superiors sent people to investigate, only to discover that the Solitary One was already dead.

The agents were so annoyed they wondered whether Ming Rong had grown lonely on duty and decided to toy with them. They barely needed to investigate. A connection to the Galactic Star Network told them almost everything.

The Solitary One's death was known throughout the Milky Way. One more conversation with Miaozun gave them the details.

"How could the Solitary One die?" Ming Rong murmured. "He was actually possessed by a life-form he created? That's unbelievable."

Unlike other Tai Wei Hua, each agent wore a strange, gauzy cloak that prevented anyone from scanning their body.

The cloaks were known to contain plenty of poor element. A thick layer of energy glowed across their surfaces with a deathly pallor, making the agents look like lanky ghosts drifting through space.

The cloaks also seemed to have been specially treated so that the glow formed one enormous character: "poor."

The glowing character hovered above and behind each agent's head as though engraved in the true vacuum. It moved with them, its relative position fixed.

From a distance, they looked like ghosts with huge, pallid characters following above their heads.
