"You don't need to come," he said gravely. "We're completely surrounded and locked in a fight to the death with the Void. If you come through the wormhole, you'll fly straight into a death trap."
Their hearts sank. They felt dizzy, cold to the bone.
With the Golden Crow Race surrounded on all sides, its destruction was only a matter of time. Reinforcements would merely arrive piecemeal to die; compared with the Golden Crow Race's main force, their fleets were a drop in the ocean.
