History

Flame Heaven World

The Dou Qi Continent was originally known as the Flame Heaven World. It possessed both magic and dou qi cultivation, but after the world was shattered, magic gradually disappeared from its surviving fragment while dou qi became its sole dominant system. 235

The destruction of Flame Heaven World also broke apart its Plane of Origin. Its remnants became scattered Origin Qi, leaving the new Dou Qi Continent unable to naturally produce Dou Di experts; ordinary cultivators were limited to Nine Star Dou Sheng unless they refined Origin Qi and gained partial authority over the plane. 235

Emperor Fall Era

After becoming a Lower Plane connected to the Great Thousand World, the Dou Qi Continent was repeatedly targeted by the Extraterrestrial Evil Clan. The ancient Dou Gods suffered immense losses during these wars, and the last survivors sacrificed their Source Qi to restore the ruined Space Passage to the Great Thousand World. 237

The Devouring Devil Clan, known locally as the Tunling Clan, later consumed the bloodlines of two Dou God Clans before the Ancient Eight Clans and the continent's Dou Sheng experts united to exterminate it. 237

The Soul Clan eventually exploited the decline of the ancient bloodlines. Hun Tiandi attacked the Xiao Tribe while it was gathered to support Xiao Xuan's attempt to become a Dou God, crippling the tribe and forcing its few survivors into hiding. 237

Flame Emperor Era

Xiao Yan's rise ended the Soul Clan's dominance and restored the Xiao Tribe's prospects. His breakthrough to Dou Di awakened and strengthened the bloodlines of related Xiao Clan members, marking the beginning of the Flame Emperor Era. 259 274

Xiao Yan's Integration

Xiao Yan fused his Main Body with the Dou Qi Continent, making the plane effectively part of himself. This grants him advanced Plane Master authority: as he grows stronger, the continent can evolve alongside him. 296

The transformation into a Great World created a vast system of orbiting planes.
