The Tribulation of Origin Destruction and Rebirth was a relatively dangerous calamity. Its difficulty increased in direct proportion to the strength of the one undergoing it, because it temporarily caused one's origin power to mutate.
The mutated origin power would uncontrollably oscillate in a chaotic, primordial state, while being imbued with both physical and mental damage enchantments. In the end, it would destroy the body, tear apart the Divine Soul, and cause the tribulation-taker to perish.
For systems focused on Body Refining and Soul Refining rather than origin power, this calamity could be passed relatively easily, even if Dao Seal Quality was only 1 point.
What a joke—if your origin power was too weak, what use would that tiny mutation be?
But for cultivation systems centered on refining Qi, no matter how strong the Dao Seal was, this tribulation was nearly certain death.
The cultivation system you chose, the "Heavenly Realm Art," developed Essence, Qi, and Spirit in all aspects. The ratio of the three major attributes was 3:4:3, with origin power being somewhat stronger than the other two attributes.
Under normal circumstances, facing this calamity meant nine hundred and ninety-nine deaths for every one chance of survival.
Was there any way to avoid a life-or-death crisis?
There was. In the Nine-Nine Boundary Heaven, there were two optimal solutions for dealing with calamities.
One was to have a True Immortal lend a hand.
Help from others would only trigger their own calamities ahead of time, but True Immortals did not suffer tribulations. You could have a True Immortal Adopted Son from the guard squad step in and use their tens of millions of Dao power to suppress the origin power oscillating within your body.
The only slightly awkward part was that unless they dispatched dozens, or even hundreds of them...
