Promise

"Art is Explosion, yeah!" Deidara spun in midair, sneering down at Isobu as it opened its huge mouth beneath him and completed a hand seal. As his words fell, a muffled boom came from underwater, blasting Isobu straight up.

Deidara pushed off Isobu's body with one foot and returned to the air. A crane-shaped Clay Bird had appeared beneath his feet.

With a loud splash, Isobu crashed back onto the lake, sending up enormous waves dozens of meters high. Deidara calmly pulled out a lump of clay and began molding it. "Underwater... then it should be fish-shaped! And this big guy has a turtle shell, so I need to increase the power! This should be enough, hmm!"

Deidara looked at the clay fish in his hands. It looked remarkably like Magikarp. Though its eyes seemed a little vacant, its power was tremendous! So young Deidara nodded in satisfaction.

He spread his hands, and Magikarp plummeted from the sky. After sinking underwater for a while, it wagged its tail and swam beside Isobu's head. Isobu glanced sideways with its enormous eye and spotted the stupid fish beside it. Before it could react, the stupid fish began glowing all over, then exploded with a boom. The terrifying shockwave spread out, and Isobu was blown unconscious before it could evade.

Hovering in the air, Deidara watched an enormous spray of water bloom below. Like a bee caught within a flower, Isobu was blown onto its back and lay belly-up on the lake's surface.

Deidara flew closer and saw that Isobu's huge eyes had already closed. If he could not still sense Isobu's Chakra, Deidara would have almost thought he had blown it to death.
