Yuexi groggily opened her eyes, looking somewhat dazed. Just moments ago, she had been preparing dinner in her own kitchen, while her son and daughter were in the living room with her husband, Ming Jing. Though a wall separated them, she could already picture her husband's troubled expression.
That was right. In Yuexi's Infinite Tsukuyomi world, after Ming Jing brought peace to the world, he and she had retired into the mountains. They had a pond, an orchard, a two-story house, and even a dog named Little Dog.
Little Dog had been sent by Inuzuka Sen and was said to be Yura's child. Thinking of how clever Yura was, the couple had happily adopted it. Sometimes, Ming Jing would take Little Dog and a bow into the forest behind the house to hunt, always returning with a good haul.
