Obito sent the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path to seize the sealed treasured tools while the Allied Forces struggled to stop it. Qing Yan transformed into Lapis Lazuli and overwhelmed the statue, but Obito appeared beside the Purple Gold Red Gourd as Darui moved to block him.

• White Zetsu told Obito that Akira Kurama, Jiraiya, and the two Jinchuriki had appeared, and Obito decided to join the battle and seize the substitute.
• Yami, Qing Yan, and Mugen reached the cliff and saw the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path approaching the Allied Forces.

• Ghost Lantern Phantom Moon warned the Allied Shinobi Forces that his Water Ball Technique was activating on its own and launched attacks at them.
• Uchiha Itachi arrived and used flames to intercept the Water Balls, then defended the other ninjas with explosive-tagged Kunai.
• Ghost Lantern Phantom Moon tried to recruit Itachi to Kirigakure, but learned Itachi had been involved in the Fourth Mizukage's death.
• Itachi used a Great Fireball Technique to destroy the Giant Clam and end its Mirage, revealing that he and Ghost Lantern Phantom Moon had been fighting as clones.
• Itachi evaded Ghost Lantern Phantom Moon's Water Gun Technique, then caught him in Genjutsu: Binding Prank Technique and told the nearby ninjas to seal him.

Itachi fought Hozuki Gengetsu’s explosive clone while the Allied Shinobi Forces struggled to understand how to defeat him. Elsewhere, Gaara and Ōnoki sealed Mu with Jiraiya’s help, though Mu was stopped from warning them about the enemy controlling the reanimated shinobi.

• Jiraiya trapped Gengetsu’s chubby doll in a swamp while Gaara bound it with sand, giving the group time to locate Gengetsu’s weakened real body.
• Gaara sealed Gengetsu in a sand pyramid, and Jiraiya and Itachi fused the sand into glass with Fire Release before sealing it with tags.
• Gaara confirmed the doll had deflated and said only the Third Raikage remained.

• Nagato mistook Kyōmu Kurama’s resin contact lenses for a Mangekyō Sharingan, and she admitted she had once blamed the Uchiha Clan for various things.
• Kyōmu Kurama trapped Nagato in a vision of worlds burning and collapsing, then altered Shinra Tensei into a gravitational force that made him injure himself.
• Nagato recovered through Impure World Reincarnation and challenged Kyōmu Kurama with Chibaku Tensei.

• Shikaku Nara reported that three reanimated Kage had been sealed and the Allied Shinobi Forces held an advantage, but Ao sensed enemies near Gaara’s unit.
• Naruto sensed the Second Tsuchikage’s arrival, reunited with Jiraiya, and learned that the Tsuchikage had split into two halves.
• Madara Uchiha appeared, and Ōnoki, Jiraiya, Itachi, and Gaara recognized him as the real Madara, distinct from the Masked Man.
• Gaara deduced that Madara had died before being revived with Impure World Reincarnation, while Itachi and Jiraiya considered who might have taken over the Masked Man’s identity.
