Physician of Qingshan Town

Xiao Yi Xian practices medicine at the Myriad Medicine Pavilion, where her medical skills make her important to the town’s injured mercenaries. The Pavilion’s standing initially protects her from people seeking to seize her or her possessions. Her involvement with poison is not a chosen vocation: without her congenital constitution, she would have remained an ordinary pharmacist 203.

After obtaining treasures in the Monster Beast Mountain Range with Xiao Huohuo, she becomes a target of the Wolf Head Mercenary Group. Mr. Yao also covets her Poison Scripture and effectively confines her within the Pavilion. She feigns compliance because his protection still prevents the mercenaries from taking her 204 208 209.

Her constitution has already driven away people close to her. She declines to disclose her birth name, preferring the name everyone now uses, Xiao Yi Xian 209.

Meeting Yunli

Yunli kills Mr. Yao after he arranges an attempt on her life, leaving Xiao Yi Xian without the Pavilion’s protection. Initially suspicious, Xiao Yi Xian prepares poison powder for self-defense. Yunli instead reveals that she knows about the poison body and offers to help control it 207 208.

Xiao Yi Xian follows Yunli despite doubting that her condition can be treated. Yunli subsequently defeats Mu She and his mercenaries, then protects her while she gathers herbs in the Monster Beast Mountain Range. There, Xiao Yi Xian reunites with Xiao Huohuo and tells him what happened in Qingshan Town 208 209 210 213.

When her poison body erupts, Yunli enters the poisonous cloud and suppresses it with the Wolf Poison Saber and the Eternal Branches of Longevity. This provides ten years of control rather than a permanent solution. Xiao Yi Xian agrees to leave the mountains with Yunli, departing by Starship while Xiao Huohuo remains in seclusion 221.

The Eternal Divine Sword and Black Twisting Domain

After a month of forging, Yunli creates a Divine Sword capable of permanently removing the constitution’s harmful consequences. Xiao Yi Xian swallows the small sword, and Yunli fuses it with her body. The treatment leaves her poison body intact while making its toxins a source of growth rather than an eventual death sentence 223.

In the Black Twisting Domain, Xiao Yi Xian purchases poisons, studies techniques supplied by Yunli, and gathers information about the Black Seal Auction. Her rapidly increasing beauty attracts unwanted attention, prompting her to wear a veil. Yunli’s examination reveals that she has also stepped onto the Path of Abundance 224 228 229.

She rejects Fan Ling’s invitation and defeats the Blood Sect disciples who attack her. After poisoning Fan Ling, she faces his father, Fan Lao, while still a Dou King. Her immortal body and the Divine Sword allow her to survive his attacks and defeat the Dou Emperor 229 230 236 240 241 242.

She later pursues Han Feng when he flees from Yunli, destroys his physical body, and retrieves his storage ring. Yunli captures his escaping soul, teaching her that killing a powerful alchemist’s body does not necessarily finish him 246.
