Geonosian Uprising (Part 2)
Geonosis, the Sacred Site.
The last leader of the Geonosians, Ganzo-Dosso, held a Geonosian head still dripping with green blood in both hands. It belonged to the Geonosian smuggler Nova had captured earlier, a laborer hatched by Emperor Karina on Tarassia.
Holding the head, Ganzo-Dosso beat his wings and flew before the altar, placing it upon a cylindrical sacrificial platform engraved with all manner of symbols. Then, eight delicate and precise mechanical arms extended from the surrounding walls, which had been disguised as rock faces. The arms moved in unison, firing pale green beams that suspended the head in midair.
The beams then began stripping away the head's skin and skull. The process was incredibly precise; the brain within was not damaged in the slightest, and even some of the surrounding neural tissue was preserved!
The sight constantly reminded any observer that the Geonosians were by no means as primitive and barbaric as they appeared, nor was Geonosis truly nothing but deserts and barren wastelands.
In truth, the Geonosians were one of the more advanced species in the Outer Rim and even the Mid Rim. Beneath Geonosis lay countless sophisticated and advanced factories!
At that moment, Ganzo-Dosso turned his head and said, "If you want to watch, then watch openly. The Queen Emperor is absent, but that does not mean the Sacred Site cannot be entered."
A flicker of electricity passed through a vent above the Sacred Site, and a figure appeared. She wore a skintight combat suit that revealed every curve of her slender body, along with a full-coverage helmet.
She pressed a button beside her helmet. The visor opened, revealing a beautiful, even somewhat bewitching face.
