"So? You think this is a gamble?" Nova asked, spreading her hands.
Salatan Morse turned around and walked to a safe in the corner of the office. He bent down, let the iris scanner on the safe confirm his identity, then opened it and solemnly took out a slip of paper.
Seeing how grave he looked, Nova curled her lip. "What's this? Half a sheet you tore off in the bathroom the other day when you forgot your notebook at a meeting, then scribbled some notes on?"
If Salarians had eyelids, Salatan Morse would have rolled his eyes fiercely at this utterly disobedient, sharp-tongued subordinate of his.
"This... is a prophecy," Salatan Morse said. "His Majesty Tang Xiao's prophecy regarding the Death Star."
He placed the slip of paper on the table, unfolded it, and showed its contents to Nova. She leaned closer and saw the following written on it:
1. The Galactic Empire is constructing the DS-1 battle station, officially named the "Death Star." It is a spherical super battle fortress 160 kilometers in diameter, with enough firepower to destroy a planet in a single shot.
2. The Death Star is being built by the Geonosians. Keep a close watch on Geonosian movements, and you will be able to determine the Death Star's construction site.
3. The Death Star's initial construction site is Geonosis. During the final stage, it will be moved to Scarif for completion and testing. However, if circumstances change, the Galactic Empire may alter the construction location. Scarif, however, should remain unchanged.
4. The chief overseer of the Death Star project is Orson Krennic. Find him and kill him. Another overseer is Wilhuff Tarkin. He is at odds with Krennic and can be exploited.
