2561, Lothal Planet Changes Hands
Kyle-Marr was an elected governor. Before him, during Lothal Planet's brief occupation by the Galactic Empire, Arihnda Pryce had served as Planet Governor.
Arihnda Pryce was the eldest daughter and heir of the local Price family on Lothal Planet, as well as a senior manager in the family's Price Mining Group. After the Clone Wars ended and the Confederacy of Independent Systems collapsed, the Price family swiftly switched sides and joined the Galactic Empire, then actively threw themselves into Imperial politics.
Through a series of political struggles, Arihnda Pryce schemed to bring down the previous governor, Ryder Azadi, on charges of treason. Then, with Wilhuff Tarkin's support, she was directly appointed as Planet Governor of Lothal Planet.
With the strength of her family behind her, Arihnda Pryce quickly discovered large deposits of precious mineral veins beneath Lothal Planet, some of which even produced Kyber Crystal. She therefore intensified her exploitation of the planet's people, intending to turn the planet into the industrial center of the Galactic Empire's Eastern Territory.
However, her harsh policies immediately met with opposition from the people of Lothal Planet, and uprisings kept breaking out. On top of that, the Galactic Empire's control over Lothal Planet, located at the edge of the Eastern Territory, was truly limited. Arihnda Pryce simply lacked the ability to suppress the uprisings.
Then, at this moment, The Givin arrived.
