War Rekindled
Darth Sidious flew a TIE/LN light fighter to a nearby Imperial-class Star Destroyer, looking utterly disheveled.
As the Emperor of the Galactic Empire, he had actually been forced to pilot an obsolete fighter flown only by cannon-fodder pilots. It was an unparalleled humiliation.
The moment he jumped out of the fighter, Darth Sidious said to the captain hurrying over to greet him, "Seal off the entire area immediately! Shoot down any vessel attempting to leave, no matter who it is!"
"Yes, Your Majesty! I'll arrange it at once!" The captain snapped to attention and saluted, replying loudly. Then he glanced at Darth Sidious and cautiously asked, "Your Majesty, should we raise the flagship designation aboard this vessel?"
"Handle it yourself." Darth Sidious waved him away impatiently and headed toward the bridge. "Pull up all records immediately! Confirm whether any ships took off from the Super Star Destroyer."
A droid beside him immediately began retrieving the records.
Meanwhile, the captain of the Imperial-class Star Destroyer straightened his chest and declared proudly, "Raise the flagship designation immediately! Confirm that this ship will command the entire fleet's operations!"
"Yes!" The first officer immediately saluted, then opened an encrypted control on the warship's console and pressed it.
The indicator lights around the hull of the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Sharp Edge immediately turned red. At the same time, the fleet's friend-or-foe identification systems registered Sharp Edge as the flagship. All command orders issued from Sharp Edge had to be obeyed by the other warships.
The captain held his head high and added, "Designation code: 'The Glory of the Empire'!"
"Yes! Designation code: 'The Glory of the Empire'!" the first officer repeated, entering another command into the console.
The code "The Glory of the Empire" indicated that His Majesty the Emperor was personally aboard
