After crossing a stretch of overlapping mountain ranges, the view before them suddenly opened up.
A village built against the mountainside appeared before them.
"This is quite a good place." After observing the surrounding terrain, Rhode praised it.
"Yes. It's deep in the mountains, and all the mountains are barren. Neither wild beasts nor Monsters would venture here. This place could be called a natural refuge."
Norn agreed from the side.
Along the way, he could not help admiring the ancestors of his village. They had actually chosen Gremir Forest, a natural no-man's-land for Monsters, as their home.

These mountains were their protective shell, but also an obstacle to going outside. The only outsiders these people could probably come into contact with were the green-skinned people in that
