What greeted his eyes was an ancient dungeon of brothels and tiled houses, willows and arched bridges, horse-drawn carriages and pawnshops.
He could not tell which dynasty it belonged to, but judging by the scenery, it had already entered the Iron Age.
A dungeon set in such a distant era would not, by itself, have made Ji Yan react so strongly.
Rather, it was because the ancient town before him looked as though it had just fallen to an invading army. Burned-out ruins were everywhere, and mutilated corpses littered the streets.
Chaos reigned, and the flames of war had engulfed the entire place!
Ji Yan wore a strange expression.
A Dungeon Map like this was supposed to be a [Perfect Dungeon]?
What was perfect about it?
Ji Yan opened the Game Panel.
He discovered that no notification about this dungeon had appeared at all.
And when he checked, there was no information whatsoever.
There was only the name of this [Perfect Dungeon]—[Eerie Tales Ancient City].
"Something feels wrong."
Just as Ji Yan was about to open the [Omniscient Nether Gate] and mobilize his [authority] to "investigate" this dungeon further, the ground suddenly split apart.
A massive fissure tore open, dividing the sprawling ancient city in two!
Then all the houses began collapsing, everything tumbling into the darkness within the fissure...
This dungeon was collapsing!
"I just got here, and the dungeon's already about to be destroyed?!"
The corner of Ji Yan's mouth twitched as he took several steps back.
Suddenly, he heard a tremendous roar rising from underground—
That sound seemed like... a train whistle?
Then an even stranger sight appeared.
Beneath the fissure in the ground, clods of earth and bricks continuously assembled into a pair of rails. A modern metal train, belching thick black smoke, burst out from
