The Dua'at System.
This system, which had once borne witness to the battle between Zhou Yun and the Silent King, no longer had any stars or planets. All matter within the system had been compressed under the control of Aurikan, who had ascended into a C'tan, into one enormous rocky planet.
The laws of physics around this rocky planet had been altered by Aurikan, allowing it to exist normally despite retaining an immense mass.
Now, upon this planet's orbit, Necron Tomb Ships from every corner of the galaxy floated in the sky like dazzling emerald crescents, carrying most of the Necrons from across the galaxy.
The vastness of the universe was always astonishing. Setting aside all other factors and considering only space, even Terra's landmass could accommodate hundreds of trillions of people. The planet beneath Zhou Yun's feet now contained the matter of an entire star system, its surface area tens of thousands of times greater than Terra's. It could easily house the entire population of the Imperium of Man, and naturally, it could house the Necron population as well.
The weight of life was so insignificant in the galaxy. Yet these seemingly minuscule lives could determine the galaxy's fate, twist the course of stars, destroy suns, exterminate star systems, set the galaxy ablaze, and even bear witness to the birth of a god.
Of course, directing so many Necrons to land on a single planet was an extraordinarily complicated task.
Fortunately, Zhou Yun controlled the Master Control Protocol of the Necrons. His commands could directly control every individual Necron, making them move like his own fingers.
As for the detailed planning, Zhou Yun handed it over to his dear Regent Guilliman.
Wasn't that extraordinary brain of his made for this sort of work?
He needed to pile more burdens
