Menma intervened in the Fourth Great Ninja War, defeated Madara and Black Zetsu, and clashed with Naruto and Sasuke before leaving to pursue more power. After absorbing the Dragon Vein and defeating the Evil God in another spacetime, he returned to the Village of Light with a warning about the Ōtsutsuki threat.

• Hagoromo sent Naruto and Sasuke away from the battlefield, while Menma freed Hashirama and joined him in confronting Madara and Obito.
• Might Guy opened the Eighth Gate and unleashed Night Guy, severely damaging Madara and Obito before collapsing near death.
• Madara was revived through Obito’s Rinne Rebirth, but Menma restrained him, took his Rinnegan, and revealed Black Zetsu’s role in the plan to revive Kaguya.
• Menma killed Madara and Black Zetsu, extracted the Tailed Beasts’ Chakra from Obito, and fought Naruto and Sasuke until Hagoromo freed the Ten-Tails from Obito.
• Menma warned Hagoromo, Naruto, Sasuke, and the others that the Ōtsutsuki Clan consumed planets and that Isshiki remained active in his spacetime, then departed to pursue more power.
• Menma absorbed the Dragon Vein’s energy, traveled to the Land of Hot Water, and defeated the Evil God after Muku fought him at the Jashin Cult’s altar.
• Menma reached the moon but left after Hagoromo and Hamura confronted him, then used the Dragon Vein to return safely to the ruins of Roran.
• Menma returned to the Village of Light and told Sasuke, Naruto, Toneri, and Karin that another spacetime existed and that they needed to resolve internal conflicts before the Ōtsutsuki threat arrived.
