The Bifrost Shattered, Asgard Falls
"Loki, you never told me that Asgard had such a formidable enemy besides Odin, and that she was your sister."
Malekith watched Hela's divine power steadily increase, a hint of displeasure appearing on his face.
Loki, that guy, is definitely unreliable!
"This is the first time I've ever heard of something like this..."
Loki said, half-jokingly, that it wasn't the first time he'd heard of Hela, but it had only been a little over ten days since he first heard the name, and he felt the same way.
Seeing that the two men had not yet knelt before her, a hint of displeasure flashed across Hela's face. She did not give them a second chance, and with a flick of her wrist, another black blade shot out.
Clang!
A flash of fire, Cursed Warrior burst out from behind Malekith, knocking Hela's blade away with a single punch.
He possessed several times the strength of Thor. In the movie, if Loki hadn't detonated the Dark Elf's specially made aether bomb, directly destroying his body, it would have been almost impossible for Thor to defeat him.
"Kill him, Cursed Warrior!"
Malekith coldly gave the order.
He didn't care about the life or death of Odin's daughter. Rather, Malekith was deeply resentful that the hateful guy had been killed by Hela before he could reveal the whereabouts of the Aether Particle.
I'd love to tear Hela apart.
The Cursed Warrior charged towards Hela like a tank. The size difference between the two was enormous, and when they collided, it was like a beauty and the beast, presenting a huge contrast.
In reality, the disparity in strength between the two sides is also enormous.
Boom!!
The Cursed Warrior sent Hela flying with a single blow. His rough, enormous hand grabbed Hela's head and slammed her into the wall before carrying Hela away.
Immediately afterwards, Loki saw Hela's small body being violently thrown out by the Cursed Warrior, as if on the surface of water, creating more than a dozen craters in the ground before crashing into a palace in the distance.
Rumble.
The towering palace, as if struck by a humanoid cannonball, collapsed instantly, burying Hela.
Loki felt a chill run down his spine.
This was even worse than when I was beaten by the Four Arms!
Could my older sister have been beaten to death?
Although Loki wasn't very familiar with this older, troubled woman, he couldn't help but worry about her. The Cursed Warrior's brute strength was terrifying; even Thor couldn't withstand that combo, could he?
Loki thought to himself.
Whether Thor could catch it or not, he didn't know; he certainly couldn't.
It's completely sealed.
"Hmph," Malekith glanced disdainfully in the direction Hela had flown off to.
Odin's daughter is nothing more than a woman who hasn't even grown her first hair yet; he doesn't even care about her.
"I'm going to the Asgard Vault; I want to find the Aether Particle myself."
Malekith turned to leave without looking back, but then he heard a loud noise, followed by a violent tremor of the earth.
The palace shook, and the carved beams and painted murals tore and fell—"crash!" From underground, the sound of chains as huge as mountains echoed. Malekith paused, then turned to look in the direction Hela had flown off to.
Boom!!!
The earth is torn apart!
A black blade powerful enough to cleave the heavens and the earth rose from the depths of Asgard, piercing forth like a mountain peak.
On that blade, Hela, wearing the Death’s Crown, looked mad!
"I'm fucking--"
When Loki saw this, he was so frightened he almost shed his skin.
If Hela were to unleash her blade, not only would he be cleaved in two, but the entire Asgard would likely be split in two!
Loki really wants to run away now.
However, the Cursed Warrior was not afraid of Hela. Facing the blade, which was larger than a mountain, he jumped towards Hela without hesitation.
Hela stood on the rushing blade, as if she were on a high-speed train. The wind blowing in her face caused her cloak to billow, and her face was filled with bloodthirsty madness!
"Come on, you dark rats, the war in Asgard will not end!"
She raised her arm, and countless blades followed her like shadows.
Boom!!!
In an instant, countless black blades pierced the castle.
After the blades struck their target, they immediately blossomed like thorny flowers, extending in all directions, turning the castle into a hedgehog and nearly piercing Loki.
Loki took a few steps back in fear, a huge black spike almost piercing his cheek. If he were hit by that thing, it wouldn't be as simple as having his head blown off...
"Lord Malekith..."
Loki was truly panicked. Even though the enemy in front of him was his sister, and even though he knew it was arranged by his father, he couldn't help but feel fear.
After all, not all actors knew that this was just a staged drama.
Even in a well-planned stage play, stage accidents can still occur, let alone nowadays.
Malekith's expression was also not good. He had not expected Hela to be so powerful. At this moment, he looked into the distance and saw Hela and the Cursed Warrior fighting endlessly in the black jungle of blades - those standing blades had become a stone forest, allowing them to leap and jump among them, providing them with a place to land.
The Cursed Warrior still held Hela under his control, even though a huge gash had been cleaved open on most of his body by the massive blade, revealing his bones and internal organs clearly in the blood.
However, he still managed to suppress Hela with his immense power.
only...
"That woman, is she immortal?"
Malekith frowned as he looked over and saw that Hela's body had already endured countless attacks in the battle with the Cursed Warrior. Several times, the Cursed Warrior had pierced Hela's body with his blade—in her abdomen, chest, and even brain—but after a brief moment of pain, Hela would immediately pull out the blade with a bloodthirsty urge and continue to fight back.
"Her power likely comes from Asgard."
Loki guessed.
Although he wasn't his biological son, he was still a prince, so there were still some suspicions.
"At this rate, her divine power will only grow stronger; we must deal with her as soon as possible!"
In fact, Hela also found it a bit strange.
Asgard felt somewhat unfamiliar to her. It seemed that something had gone wrong when Asgard was transferring power to her, as it was supposed to provide her with Infinity divine power.
"Has a portion of my power been stolen?"
She was once again disemboweled by the Cursed Warrior, her body kicked away, her intestines spilling out onto the ground.
Hela ignored the minor injuries, hastily stuffed her organs back into her body, then stood up and wielded the blade to attack the Cursed Warrior.
Meanwhile, the Dark Elf began climbing up the blade, relentlessly attacking Hela.
This made Hela, who was already under pressure, feel even more exhausted.
She knew that if things continued this way, she would eventually achieve victory, but it would take much longer.
The Dark Elf, however, could avoid getting entangled with her.
Hela didn't know what that guy's purpose was, but since he had already invaded Asgard, she couldn't let him leave just like that!
I need an army of the undead!
A glint flashed in her eyes, and with a casual wave of her hand, she unleashed hundreds upon hundreds of Death Blades, claiming the lives of thousands of Dark Elf.
Next up is the Cursed Warrior; to deal with this guy, we'll need something really powerful!
She gathered divine power, and another blade, as large as a mountain, appeared, piercing towards the Cursed Warrior like a black spear of death!
The blade struck the Cursed Warrior's chest, pinning him to the ground rather than crushing him like a pillar of rock beneath hundreds of thousands of tons of blade.
However, she knew that this probably wouldn't suppress the other party for long.
Now all she has to do is ignite the flames of death, bring her invincible undead army back to the mortal realm, and let Fenris's fangs pierce the chest of the Cursed Warrior!
She is on her way to the Asgard Vault.
Meanwhile, Loki and Malekith were also heading to the vault.
Malekith was in a great hurry.
After learning that Hela was essentially invincible as long as she was in Asgard, he abandoned his plan to confront the woman head-on.
Is it necessary?
Unless you blow up Asgard yourself, there's no way you can kill her.
Instead of wasting time dealing with this woman, it would be better to find the Aether Particle and drag the Nine Realms into the Dark World. Then, Asgard would lose its divine protection, and Hela would be at his mercy.
Fortunately, the vault was not affected by Hela's attack.
Unfortunately, there are no Aether Particle here either.
Malekith looked around but saw neither the Aether Particle nor any trace of hidden magic. Enraged, he grabbed Loki by the collar, lifted him high, and shouted, "Where are my Aether Particle?!"
"I have no idea!"
Loki immediately shouted, "I already told you I wasn't here..."
Malekith knew he was just taking his anger out on Loki. Loki had already said that he hadn't found the Aether Particle, but he felt that Bor must have hidden it with magic.
"Pat-pat--"
At that moment, crisp footsteps echoed through the empty treasure vault.
In the darkness, Hela slowly approached with a sinister smile.
"Out of options, you bedbugs?"
Her gait was alluring; as she swayed her hips, the Death Blades was already in her hand. In Hela's eyes, Malekith and Loki were already fish on her chopping board.
"She's just Odin's daughter, how dare she be so arrogant?"
Even now, Malekith shows no fear.
He turned around, calmly looking at Hela, his right hand already gripping the blade, while his left hand reached behind his back, secretly clutching a space bomb.
Hela is strong, but he's not afraid of her.
Even if the bombs are ineffective, he still has some residual ether from five thousand years ago, enough to temporarily strengthen him into someone even more powerful than the Cursed Warrior.
However, forcing oneself to use that thing is also a form of physical abuse.
"Just Odin's daughter?" Hela scoffed. "If I were Bor, the only place left to see Dark Elf would be the museums of Asgard —in their corpses!"
They're something that should have gone extinct five thousand years ago, yet they dare to spout nonsense in front of me?
She stopped and reached her arm toward the campfire beside her; the flames engulfed her.
"Wait until I awaken my army with the Eternal Flame— " Hela paused, a look of astonishment on her face, and abruptly turned her head to look at the flame in her palm.
"This is not Eternal Flame!"
Where is my Eternal Flame?
"Where is my great Eternal Flame?"
Hela was dumbfounded.
Without the Eternal Flame, she had no way to awaken her army of the dead; only that flame could bring them back from Helheim.
Otherwise, she would have no choice but to personally go to Helheim and fight her way back.
Loki scratched his head, as if remembering something, and said, "Oh, that... I think Odin gave it to Sakaar King."
Hela:???
"What did you say?!"
No, Dad?
My dear father!
Are you really that wasteful?
The Eternal Flame is such a huge thing, you just give it away like that?
And it wasn't just one or two flowers that were given away, but the whole thing was taken away by him?
Why leave a tattered fire shed with some ordinary magical flame to use as candles?
Hela went numb immediately.
Not to mention Hela, even Malekith was stunned.
He grabbed Loki by the neck, lifted him up, and asked with a bad feeling, "You better think carefully, did that old man send out the Aether Particle as well?"
"This... it shouldn't be..." Loki shrank back, his face full of confusion as he pondered. To be honest, he felt it was hard to say.
Asgard has many artifacts, but most of them are gathering dust, Odin, that old man, doesn't seem to care much about them.
The Tesseract from decades ago was lost on Earth without a second thought, and Odin seems indifferent to the Destroyer from before, and the Casket of Ancient Winters he currently holds.
Odin, of course, didn't care.
It's said that a son sells his father's land without a second thought, especially since most of those treasures weren't even his own.
If it's lost, it's lost.
Malekith understood Loki's expression and was immediately enraged.
Without the Aether Particle, his grand plan naturally fell apart.
The only good news now is that Odin is dead, giving him time to conquer the Nine Realms even without the Aether Particle.
But he was still angry when he thought about it.
"The Galactic Plumbers! It's the Galactic Plumbers again!"
"If Odin really gave my Aether Particle to the Galactic Plumbers, then they already have four Infinity Stones! We must eliminate them!" Malekith had never met the Galactic Plumbers, but he already considered them a major threat.
Coincidentally, Hela had the same idea.
She must reclaim her Eternal Flame.
The two men exchanged a glance, but showed no intention of forming an alliance.
Especially Hela.
They're nothing but Svartalfheim rats, who should have died out five thousand years ago. Do they even deserve to be allies with me?
If Malekith, that white rat, is willing to bow down and kneel before me, that would be fine. Otherwise, he might as well die first and then become a ghost to haunt me!
"Thump!!!"
Just as Hela was about to continue her attack, the Cursed Warrior who had been suppressed earlier arrived.
He crashed through several layers of the earth's surface, standing directly in front of Malekith and blocking Hela for Malekith.
"Lord Malekith, shall we retreat?" Loki asked tentatively.
He wasn't acting; he genuinely wanted to slip away.
Malekith, seeing that he couldn't find the Aether Particle, had no intention of staying. Hela was a problem he couldn't deal with for the time being, so he decided to trap her in Asgard and deal with her later.
Loki turned and left with Malekith.
However, the Dark Elf army in Asgard did not retreat in sync.
They are still fighting.
On the Bifrost, the Three Warriors had already reunited with Heimdall.
However, after fighting their way through countless enemies, they were already exhausted. At this moment, the three of them, covered in wounds, collapsed in front of Heimdall in a sorry state.
Heimdall looked even more miserable.
His divine power seemed to be dissipating, his golden eyes were dim, and even the Bifrost itself was full of cracks.
"You... stole the power of the Bifrost..."
He looked with difficulty at the Three Witches; the three wrinkled old women grinned, revealing their sparse teeth.
"From this moment forward, the power of the Bifrost belongs to the great Lord Malekith!"
"As for you, you will become withered bones before the Great One rules the Nine Realms!"
The Three Witches were about to kill him, but Heimdall, seeing this, could only use his last bit of divine power to envelop the Three Warriors.
He lowered his head and chanted the incantation.
"Odin Allfather, may the light of Black Magic shine upon me one last time— the Bifrost!"
In an instant, as the last ray of seven-colored light flashed by, the Bifrost of the Asgard shattered with a deafening roar.
