With access to the spaceship, Jor El was able to recount the past events to Clark in greater detail.

Inside the spaceship, some black particles formed images of the past, depicting Krypton's history like a mural.

Clark finally let go of his fear of his origins through Jor-El's narration.

Previously, besides not understanding why his biological parents abandoned him, he also worried that his existence might be part of an alien invasion plan. Now that he knows that he came to Earth simply because Krypton is about to be destroyed, the heavy worries in his heart have finally dissipated.

However, he still had one point of confusion.

Why didn't you come into this world with me?

"We can't, Karl." Jor-El shook his head. "No matter how much your mother and I love you, we can't leave Krypton."

He led Clark to the spaceship's life incubation chamber. Although there were no longer any life embryos there, the power of the tome within Clark's body could actually be used to recreate Krypton's great civilization through the technology of the incubation chamber.

However, the New Krypton born in this way will ultimately only follow their original path of destruction.

Therefore, Joe Al did not mention anything about the Codex to Clark.

He believed that since Krypton was now history, and since the path of artificially editing life was no longer viable, perhaps a more natural way could yield the correct answer. His son, Kal'El, was the answer he, as a scientist, provided in an effort to save Krypton.

only...

Joe Al glanced at the spaceship's main screen, where the Galactic Plumbers's hourglass symbol was flashing incessantly.

He didn't know which link in the chain went wrong; the answer seemed to have cracked open, splitting into two.

Of course, Jor-El already knew that Ben was not Kryptonian, but he couldn't figure out the origin of that transformation watch. Logically speaking, Krypton's technology was already at the forefront of the universe, but even a top scientist like Jor-El couldn't imagine the power contained in that watch.

This is only natural.

If Krypton technology could decipher the Little Broken Watch, then the so-called energy crisis would have long ceased to exist.

After all, the Little Broken Watch only needs three days of charging to accumulate enough energy to destroy a universe.

"Cannot?"

Clark was confused by Jor-El's words.

So Jor-El slowly began to explain to him.

The Kryptonian ' reproductive methods meant that their life paths were predetermined from the very beginning. Rather than being human, they were more like a pre-programmed sequence of events, a living mechanical equation.

As a scientist, Jor-El could never escape the identity of "saving" Krypton, and the same was true for Zod.

However, their identities are different, and the ways they seek to save Krypton are completely different.

But one thing is certain: neither side ever had the deepest thought of leaving Krypton during its time Krypton crisis, because fundamentally, they simply couldn't do it.

After hearing his explanation, Clark couldn't help but feel sorrow for everything on Krypton.

"But it's all over now," Jor-El said. "Krypton's ancient past has been destroyed along with the planet. No one else survived except you."

"I'm afraid I must correct you, Mr. Joe Al."

While Clark was still thinking, Ben interrupted their conversation.

"Clark isn't the last Kryptonian."

"If you include the form you took using Kryptonian genes, then that's certainly true." Jor-El didn't immediately deny it; instead, he agreed with Ben's point. "Your watch is amazing; it makes you one and everything."

"I believe that if you make good use of it, you might be able to build a bridge for friendly communication between all races."

It's often said that Superman is Superman and not Homelander because of his two fathers and two women, and now it seems that's indeed the case.

While Jor-El also bore the mission of seeking hope and a future for Krypton, he did not intend to do so by destroying other civilizations, unlike Zod.

Instead, he hoped that Clark could establish a good relationship with Earth and, with his superhuman powers, guide the future of humanity and Krypton.

However, he misunderstood Ben's meaning.

"What I mean is, when this spaceship started up, it sent a signal into space..."

"I know that," Jor-El nodded. "It's a measure to prevent the coordinates of the outpost from being lost, but that signal won't get any response anymore."

"The problem is that someone responded."

Ben detached himself from the main body of the spaceship and transformed back into his Kryptonian form. He was actually considering which gene the Kryptonian could fuse with.

Upon hearing his words, even though he was just a program at the moment, Jor-El showed a look of astonishment.

"How could this be... Besides Karl, the only Kryptonian still alive are probably Zod and his Black Zero Legion, but they have all been indefinitely exiled into the black hole..."

"It's clear that the destruction of Krypton caused problems with your prisons as well," Ben said.

He was also quite interested in Krypton's ability to control wormholes at will; if he could obtain the data, he could create the Null Void Projector.

"Whether it's Zod or not, that signal source is already heading towards Earth." Ben turned to Clark. "You're in trouble."

"Me?" Clark was a little overwhelmed by all the information he received.

"It is indeed troublesome," Joe Al nodded seriously.

"Zod's methods are far more radical. In order to save Krypton, he will inevitably forcibly alter Earth's gravitational environment, recreating everything from Krypton, and all Earthlings will be killed. We can't let him do that; that would just be repeating the same mistakes."

He glanced again at Clark, whose brows were furrowed and who looked worried, and swallowed the other reason why the two sides were irreconcilable.

Once Zod arrives on Earth, he will inevitably seek out the Codex.

And the Codex that can recreate the miracles of Krypton is inside Clark's body.

Will they go to war with Earth?

Clark asked, deep in thought.

He never expected that his worst fears would come true: his people would ultimately stand against Earth, and he was caught between Earthlings and Kryptonian, finding it difficult to make a decision.

It's not that difficult.

Clark grew up on this planet, and his kindness destined him to protect this home.

However, if possible, he would certainly prefer to resolve everything peacefully rather than fight among his own people.

Unfortunately...

"I suggest you master your Superpowers as soon as possible," Ben said to Clark.

Zod and the others wore Kryptonian Battle Armor, whose support capabilities were astonishing. It was able to suppress Clark, who had not yet fully mastered his abilities, for a short period of time. Moreover, these people were genetically destined to be natural warriors. Even if they only absorbed sunlight briefly, they could rapidly increase their combat power and quickly master this power.

If Clark were to act the same way he did in the original movie, he would probably still get a beating.

However, when it comes to Zod, Ben actually has an idea.

He glanced down at his Little Broken Watch, thinking that he had always used it as a tool for fighting, but now, perhaps, was the time for it to truly prove its original purpose.

"Zod's goal is to recreate Krypton, and perhaps I can do it."

His words made Clark and Jor-El both turn their heads in surprise.

Jor-El shook his head and said, "Zod will not choose to coexist with Earthlings. His arrogance towards Kryptonian will not allow other races to stand on equal footing with him. Moreover, according to the predetermined program of fate, he is destined to recreate the Krypton that went astray."

"It's simple, I'll just become a Venerable One."

Ben said matter-of-factly.

I'm currently reading the error-free version! This is my first novel.

Since Zod was a born general and warrior, his genes must contain the underlying code to obey the king's orders.

Krypton has no king, but it has an Council of Elders. Even when Zod rebelled, he was unable to kill the Council of Elders and was eventually forced to surrender and be imprisoned.

"You're planning to build a New Krypton?" Jor-El was also surprised by Ben's words.

It's important to understand that while Krypton's machines can modify the atmosphere and planetary gravity, the prerequisite is that the planet itself must have the conditions necessary to support life. Otherwise, there are more uninhabited planets in the universe than grains of sand in a desert; why bother coming to Earth when you could just pick any one?

"I have plenty of planets."

Ben shrugged.

Who do you think you are!

As the Lord of the Nine Realms and the sovereign of the known universe, wouldn't a few suitable planets for Kryptonian to inhabit be easy to find?

One planet isn't enough.

If others knew he came, they'd think he couldn't afford it. One for each person!

The idea of one person per planet is obviously a joke, but if the number of Kryptonian increases, and a large number of Superman gather on the same planet, they would have to be careful even when breathing, lest they extinguish the sun or blow up the planet.

Clearly, ordinary planets are not suitable for Kryptonian to live on.

Or perhaps we should simply give them a Red Sun to suppress their power?

Anyway, Ben didn't recreate Krypton for the sake of Kryptonian combat power; he just intended to let the Little Broken Watch truly fulfill Azmuth's expectations of it when it was created.

"It is Noah's Ark, the spark of civilization."

Jor-El watched as Ben raised his wrist, like a savage in the darkness holding a torch, the light of civilization flickering in his hand, faint, yet seemingly capable of continuing for generations.

For a moment, he was also somewhat moved.

After a moment of silence, Joe Al once again made a decision that went against his ancestors' wishes.

"I don't know if this watch is really as powerful as you say, but if you truly have a way to continue the Krypton civilization, then perhaps you'll need the Codex." He was about to hand the Codex to Ben. "The Codex contains all the genes and possibilities of the Kryptonian. As long as it exists, Krypton civilization will continue, but..."

He looked at Clark.

Retrieving the Codex will likely not be so easy.

He has fused the Krypton relic with his son, and retrieving it would require extremely advanced technology; otherwise, Clark's life would be in danger.

However, Ben shook his head.

"No need, you underestimate Omnitrix."

The moment the Little Broken Watch extracted Clark's genes, the Codex had already been analyzed and incorporated into the watch.

Moreover, even without Codex, a watch itself possesses the same or even superior functions.

"First, subdue Zod. If they're willing to cooperate, then spare their lives. If not, New Krypton doesn't need these old and rotten guys."

He has made his decision.

Zod and his group were undoubtedly the best Krypton warriors, but they were not of much help in establishing New Krypton, as the most crucial spark, Ben, had already been acquired.

"They outnumber us; we should cooperate. Clark, let me train you."

Ben looked at Clark with great interest and said, rubbing his hands together eagerly.

In fact, many of the Alien Hero he now possesses power that completely overwhelms Zod and his group. Kryptonian are indeed very strong, and few races can match their potential.

However, at this stage, Clark or Zod's group do not possess much power.

In terms of numerical strength, they might not even be able to defeat the Four Arms of Sakaar Lightning; in terms of mechanics, not to mention Alien X, or the living planet's Gravattack, or the Celestial Way Big... a single newly born Anodite could easily wipe them all out.

After all, it's common knowledge that Kryptonian have negative magic resistance.

Ben only needs to cast a few Manna Magic to instantly kill them all.

But that would be too boring.

The conversation has come to an end.

Clark changed into their family's formal attire, with a bright red "S" embroidered on his chest, representing hope.

Behind him, a cloak as red as flames billowed in the wind.

Ben led him out of the spaceship; the cold air outside had no effect on them.

"Your Heat Vision is already quite proficient, now try flying!" Ben became the teacher.

"How do you fly?" Clark asked. "By jumping? By increasing your body speed to the point of defying gravity?"

"In that case, you'll either fly off the Earth or fall to the ground," Ben said, shaking his head. "Use your position, just like you control your power to avoid harming the world."

Clark had long been able to sense the existence of the position.

Otherwise, all he would need to do is give his mother a gentle hug, and she would turn into a bursting tomato.

This was an ability he naturally possessed, so after being Ben, Clark was able to use this power with ease.

Boom!

He took flight.

It left behind a deafening sonic boom.
