Spider-Men vs. the Dinosaur

Mary Jane opened her mouth and explained with difficulty:

"I was looking for Benny and... Peter. We're... neighbors. If something happened to them, Uncle Ben and Aunt May would be devastated..."

Felicia, her face full of worry, failed to notice that something was off in Mary Jane's tone. She said in a panic:

"I didn't see him. He wasn't in the classroom just now."

"We have to find him. What if he doesn't know there's a monster in the school?"

Mary Jane nodded at that. This was no time to care about her worthless pride. Benny's safety was what mattered most!

Fortunately, even amid the crowd, Benny spotted the two of them.

Mary Jane's red hair and Felicia's blonde hair were both incredibly conspicuous. With his hearing, he had also caught what they were talking about.

Seeing that the two girls were about to turn back and look for him, Benny hurriedly pushed through the crowd and headed toward them.

"Felicia, Mary Jane."

"Benny!"

The moment they saw him, Mary Jane and Felicia both cried out in delight. But Mary Jane also noticed that Peter was not with him and quickly asked, "Benny, where's Peter? There's a terrifying monster inside the school. We need to get out of here!"

"You two follow the crowd and leave first. I'll go find Peter."

Benny placed his hands on their shoulders and pushed them toward the exit.

By then, most of the students had already evacuated.

Felicia clearly did not want him taking such a risk. She grabbed Benny's arm—her palm was cold and slightly sweaty with fear—and hurriedly said, "It's too dangerous."

"Peter's my cousin. I can't just leave him behind," Benny said.

At the same time, a deafening crash came from behind him—Connors barreled forward like a train, his massive body slamming Spider-Man through several walls before the two vanished from the sight of all three of them.

Felicia was so frightened that she nearly forgot how to breathe.

"Was that Spider-Man?"

Benny nodded, then gave his orders. "Spider-Man will keep the monster busy. I'll find Peter. You two get out first. Mary Jane, take Felicia outside!"

"But..."

Felicia wanted to say more, but Mary Jane caught her by the shoulder and looked at Benny seriously. "Be careful!"

"Don't worry."

Watching Mary Jane pull Felicia away, Benny turned toward the direction Connors and Peter had gone. They had already smashed through the first-floor ceiling. In the second-floor corridor, the towering Connors grabbed Peter's smaller body with one hand and slammed him brutally into the ground!

The gap in strength was far too great!

The original Lizard Man had possessed combat power nearly equal to Spider-Man's, perhaps even greater than Peter's, since Peter had yet to fully mature. Now, Dinosaur Doctor Connors, having received the mutant gene, had gained a tremendous increase in strength on top of that.

Benny even suspected that Connors's physical abilities might already rival the Hulk in his normal state!

"This isn't an enemy Peter can handle alone anymore."

Benny rushed into a classroom and took out the serum. He lowered his head to glance at his watch but did not activate it. Instead, he pulled a red Spider Suit from his backpack—

Advanced Battle Suit Modified Version.

The blue sections had been replaced with black, while a huge white spider emblem, like a skeleton, covered the entire suit!

When Benny had been surrounded by those monsters at Osborn last night, he had deeply regretted not making a Web Shooter sooner. So, after returning from Kamar-Taj, he had transformed into XLR8 and quickly made himself a suit.

For that, he had nearly worn out the sewing machine at home.

As for the Web Shooter, it was still rather crude. He could only upgrade it later.

Benny quickly changed into the battle suit.

With a leap, Benny shot out the window. Raising his wrist, he fired a strand of Silk, launching himself forward like a cannonball—

This was the first time he had swung on Silk since gaining Spider-Man's Superpowers. He had to admit, it felt amazing. No wonder Peter liked wandering around outside at night so much.

The lenses of the suit did not obstruct his vision at all. Benny precisely locked onto Connors in the second-floor corridor.

Connors held Peter in both hands, his massive palms nearly enclosing Peter's entire body. His ten monstrous claws clenched tightly, intent on crushing every bone in Peter's body alive!

"Ah—"

Peter let out a pained scream.

In contrast, Connors seemed far more composed. His protruding snout was nearly pressed against Peter's face, and his terrifying fangs were as long as half of Peter's face!

His expression was full of mockery. "Poor Peter Parker, why do you oppose me?"

Peter could not force out a single word. If Connors removed his mask now, he would discover that Peter's face was already flushed red. With his body being squeezed, his blood could barely circulate, making him dizzy and disoriented.

"You have no father, no mother... So lonely—"

Connors said sympathetically.

From today onward, everyone in New York would become his kind, except for one person—Spider-Man.

"You'll be the only outcast, Peter. But don't worry, no one will look down on you for it," Connors comforted him. "Because you'll die here."

"He won't!"

Just as Connors was about to twist Peter's neck, Benny's voice suddenly rang out.

Connors immediately looked toward the window at the sound, where a red-and-black shadow flashed past at high speed!

Crash!

Benny's kick, carrying the monstrous force of more than ten tons, shattered the glass like a meteor and slammed viciously into Connors's shoulder, sending him flying.

"Besides, he isn't alone. He has a cousin!"

Benny landed in a flip and looked at Peter, who had escaped and collapsed limply onto the ground as though his body had fallen apart.

"You okay?"

"I'm fine. Just broke a few ribs, I guess..." Peter complained. "If you'd been any slower, I'd be dead."

"But you're not dead yet, are you?" Benny took out the serum and tossed it to Peter.

"I'll hold him off. Find a chance to inject him!"

"Wait, Benny..." Peter hesitated.

Benny thought Peter was worried about his safety. "Don't worry about me."

"No, I just noticed a problem." Peter looked at the thin needle on the serum injector and said bitterly, "This thing can't pierce his skin at all!"

Benny: ...

"Sorry. When I made the serum, I only considered the possibility that Connors was the Lizard Man," Benny said helplessly. How could he have anticipated that the Lizard Man would become the Dinosaur Man?

Boom!

Connors leaped up and heavily smashed through the ceiling, appearing before them once more.

He opened his gaping maw:

"There are two annoying spiders?"

"I didn't know Richard had another child. Whatever—"

He gave up thinking. A cruel smile appeared on his monstrous face. "This is a good thing. Congratulations, Peter. You won't be alone on the road to death!"

Connors grinned viciously, then charged at them like a Beast!
