Raiding Their Base
Your dream is over, soldier.
Tony scoffed.
"Thor and Wanda have both betrayed you. Guess who else is loyal to Hydra? Maybe even Vision has betrayed you."
"I really didn't expect that."
Steve used his strength with both hands, and his power actually overwhelmed Tony, who was wearing armor. He even pinched Tony's wrists with his fingers, leaving finger marks.
"Was it made by Ben Parker?"
"I underestimated him. He's not like you bunch of good-for-nothings."
Steve slowly stood up, and now Tony was at his mercy, unable to escape.
Where did he go?
"You guess."
Steve and Tony were locked in a stalemate, each wanting to smash the other's head in.
But Steve is even more ruthless.
"You know what? When I found out that it was your own consciousness controlling the armor, I was really happy," he said. "Because I can't wait to erase your consciousness!"
"Likewise, likewise!"
Tony gritted his teeth and said.
The two got tangled up and started fighting again.
Meanwhile, Madam Hydra, supporting the Kraken, tried to escape, realizing something was wrong.
The defection of two powerful combatants has gradually turned their initial advantage into a disadvantage.
There's also Vision; what if he betrays us too?
"Impossible!"
Dr. Zola began in the communication.
"I've checked; the virus in the Vision program hasn't been removed. He couldn't have betrayed us!"
Madam Hydra thought this made the same sense.
After all, if the virus within Vision were neutralized, there would be no need for him to help Hydra locate the fragments.
"Once Vision gets the last fragment, let's leave," Zola said. "No matter how many of them there are, once we've collected all the fragments of the Cosmic Cube, we're still in charge."
"I'm already building a brand new suit of armor; all that's missing is the Cube as its core."
"At that time, neither these insects nor any creatures in the universe will be a match for our Hydra Supreme Leader!"
Long live Hydra!
Long live Hydra!
Washington D.C..
[Steve] stood in front of several Hydra soldiers and spoke in a low voice.
The low-ranking soldiers had no idea that the real Steve Rogers was currently fighting in Las Vegas. When they suddenly saw the Highbreed, they mistook him for the real Steve and immediately saluted excitedly.
"I captured several rebels."
[Steve] turned to the side, revealing Black Widow and others with shackles on their hands.
"They have important intelligence. Send a spaceship to pick me up and take me to headquarters immediately."
"Yes!"
The soldier stood at attention, saluting sharply, and said, "I'll contact Dr. Zola immediately."
"Don't contact Zola or the other members yet," [Steve] said quickly.
"Why is that?"
The soldier was stunned for a moment, then immediately regretted it.
He shouldn't have asked such a stupid question, or rather, he shouldn't have asked any questions at all. All he needed to do was obey orders.
"I suspect someone has betrayed Hydra," [Steve] added as an explanation.
The soldiers were immediately filled with anger and fear.
There's a traitor within Hydra!
Hateful!
"Supreme Leader, you must find the traitor and execute him! Long live Hydra!"
Long live Hydra!
As soon as they boarded the spaceship, the group immediately removed their shackles and shook themselves.
Miles said with a sigh of relief, "I didn't expect it to be this simple."
It's not that simple.
Natasha picked a chair, put her feet up on the control panel, and said, "Actually, they had the detection equipment ready long ago. If it wasn't the real Steve Rogers, it would definitely be detected, even if it were Skrull."
After saying that, she glanced at the Highbreed, looking puzzled.
Ben Parker told her that the Steve Rogers in front of her was not the real Steve Rogers, but she couldn't figure out who could impersonate him so well.
Just like she could never understand who had replaced Steve in her world.
Do you remember our mission?
"Activate the Planetary Shield and deactivate the Hydra fleet's control program."
Miles said.
The Mockingbird nearby was communicating with Agent Hill.
Even after the Hydra fleet control program was deactivated, the matter was not over; a large number of Hydra soldiers still needed to be dealt with.
Every city needs a large number of people to fight; heroes alone cannot do the job.
Even Doctor Strange joined the rescue team after waking Wanda.
"There are also Cube Fragment."
Highbreed.
"But getting the Cube Fragment is Tony and his team's job," Miles said. "Although we successfully infiltrated the Hydra Base, the Cube Fragment's hiding place must be very well concealed. If those Hydra executives discover us, even your disguise won't be enough."
"But the opportunity is rare."
"It's urgent, "the Highbreed said.
"Collecting all the Cube Fragment constitutes a complete victory."
"Isn't this... a bit too risky?"
Miles said uncertainly.
"Someone has to take risks, otherwise we can't just leave all the burden to them," the Highbreed.
Natasha now roughly understood what the other party's purpose was.
She pulled her legs back, crossed her arms, and lifted her chest, declaring, "Steve is right. We're already here; there's no reason not to retrieve the Cube Fragment from Hydra."
"Alright, once we're inside the base, we'll split into two groups."
"Mockingbird, you're familiar with the base's structure. Miles, you can become invisible. The task of disarming the shield is yours," Natasha said. "The task of retrieving the Cube Fragment is ours."
"All right."
Miles nodded.
"If you encounter any trouble, you must evacuate as soon as possible."
The four people split up and acted separately.
Miles went into stealth mode as soon as he entered the base.
The Mockingbird led the way.
The Hydra Base used to be a S.H.I.E.L.D.. base, and she was originally a S.H.I.E.L.D.. agent herself, so she knew the place very well.
When encountering enemies, the two of them can easily take them down by working together.
On the other side.
Natasha and the Highbreed quickly infiltrated the archives. Although the Highbreed didn't demonstrate much intelligence or technology in the original story, their brains were actually quite well-developed, and they quickly deciphered a lot of information.
"It seems the Cube Fragment are in Dr. Zola's hands; he's preparing to forge a suit of armor capable of fighting any enemy."
Natasha frowned.
She was surprised that Tony and his team had only gotten one fragment.
"Thank goodness we came."
The Highbreed laughed.
He had already envisioned himself obtaining all the fragments and then completely changing the future of his race.
But then he had doubts.
If all of this really comes to pass, then what about all the preparations they've made so far to destroy other life forms?
Let's go.
"Go and take the fragments!"
Natasha said.
The two immediately located Dr. Zola's laboratory based on the information in the document.
The door was locked.
But the Highbreed was so desperate that he stopped pretending. He poked his hands directly into the crack in the door, and with the strength of his pectoral muscles, which were as big as refrigerators, he forcefully pulled open the several-ton steel mechanical door!
On the chest of a Iron Armor painted gold, a broken the Cube emitted a serene, cosmic light.
"A real the Cube!"
A hint of infatuation appeared in the Highbreed's eyes, but Natasha was already prepared to act.
She quickly took out the Cube and said, "You can keep it safe."
The Highbreed was about to grab it, stopped, but Natasha said, "But let me make a wish first."
"To defeat Hydra?" the Highbreed asked.
"No, we need to bring back the real Steve Rogers!"
