But I Refuse
Not long ago.
After the Charmcaster escaped and was captured by the Ancient One, Magik and his companions decided to rescue her.
Although the Ancient One was very powerful, and they weren't sure they could succeed, she was, after all, the Messiah, the last hope for Mutants. Even if they couldn't defeat her, they had to try.
So they made a lot of preparations.
As it turned out, all these preparations were useless, and the Charmcaster left with an unknown nobody named Ben.
The group immediately perked up.
If I can't beat the Ancient One, how could I possibly lose to someone else?
I'd never heard of this guy named Ben before. He's probably some nobody who crawled out of a trash can, and he dares to call himself some kind of knight just because he ripped a cloth over his face.
The White Queen and the others felt confident that everything was in the bag.
Only the Magik was a little worried, not because she was worried that she couldn't beat him, but because she was worried that Ben, not to mention that he was really good-looking, and even she didn't mind sleeping with him a few times.
The Charmcaster had been with the four of them since childhood, and having never seen much of the world, she might easily be bewitched.
Charmcaster: You know what, right?
Cable said that wasn't a problem at all; if the Charmcaster liked it, they could just kidnap that pretty boy along with her.
The White Queen agreed, and besides, who doesn't like a handsome man?
Spending too much time with Cable and Colossus, those two smelly, rough men, made her wonder if she was about to become a nun.
The four of them considered many things, even thinking that after they brought back the Charmcaster, the Ancient One might come to hunt them down, so they prepared an escape route in advance.
But they never considered that they couldn't beat Ben Parker.
At this moment, inside the Space Station of the Galactic Plumbers Earth Branch, four people lay on the ground like four dead dogs. Ben was stepping on the White Queen's buttocks, which, surprisingly, were quite soft.
"Mutants?"
"Who gave you the order to attack the Galactic Plumbers Space Station?"
Ben's four eyes were all squinting at them, and he was starting to wonder if something was wrong with the world.
Since the resurgence of Mutants, there has indeed been a significant number of Mutants crimes.
But most of these cases are simply due to a loss of control over their abilities. Only a few dim-witted individuals believe that having Superpowers allows them to commit perfect "crimes," such as theft or robbery.
These people were already quite bold; Ben hadn't expected there to be such experts who would dare to directly attack the Earth headquarters of the Galactic Plumbers.
They even came up with a clear objective: to grab a sack and take him away.
Whose subordinate is this?!
These Mutants were dumbfounded too.
Everyone turned to look at Magik; she was the only one who had seen Ben person.
Wasn't he supposed to be just a pretty boy who was somewhat handsome, barely made it onto Time Magazine, and could be named one of the world's most charming men?
How did they manage to defeat us all so easily?
Colossus was the most shocked.
Although he is called Colossus, his body structure is not as simple as ordinary steel.
It's a type of carbon steel, with a hardness second only to Adamantium and Vibranium.
But the moment they exchanged blows, he was completely stunned by a single punch.
His entire body of steel seemed to have turned into small pieces of metal from a soda can, easily dented by the opponent's blow.
He even tried to outmuscle Ben, but he couldn't budge one of Ben's arms with either hand; instead, his wrist was crushed.
Cable intended to use Cyclops's abilities to attack Ben, but despite his best efforts, Cyclops's laser beam failed to penetrate Ben's skin, and he was subsequently knocked down.
The White Queen was the most tragic one.
She originally intended to control Ben with her psychic abilities, and even deliberately moved behind Ben in a sneak attack that disregarded all martial ethics.
As it turned out, Ben's Spider-Sense had already detected her, and with a backhand chop, he almost destroyed her throw, leaving her still lying dead, being used as a footrest.
The entire battle lasted less than a minute before the Four Arms finished them off.
"The last group that seemed to kidnap me was Kingpin; their graves must have been overgrown with weeds by now."
"Let us go!"
Magik's two wrists were gripped by Ben's one hand. She was small in stature, and the Four Arms's fist was more than twice the size of her head. Holding his fist was like holding two thin ropes.
She wanted to use magic to escape.
But don't assume that Ben, now Four Arms, is only capable of brute force.
His innate Energy of the Universe magic remains unaffected when he transforms into any hero, and his magical power is enhanced depending on his race.
For example, at this moment, the Sakaar Lightning was in his hands with ease, sealing off the Magik's magical power like a cage.
"Kamar-Taj magic?"
"Are you a disciple of the Ancient One?"
Ben paused for a moment, then deactivated his transformation, but did not release his opponent.
Seeing that he had misunderstood, the Magik immediately raised his banner. "That's right! I am the disciple of the Ancient One! Now you'd better let me go!"
"Fart!"
"Ancient One, you're just looking for trouble!"
Ben kicked her little bottom hard, almost making it bleed.
Ouch!
"Your magic contains not a Energy of the Universe, yet you claim to be a disciple of the Ancient One? I think you're a traitor to Kamar-Taj! Today, I'll cleanse the house for the Ancient One!"
No, no, no!
The Magik was genuinely scared.
She couldn't beat him in a fight, and she couldn't get any connections. Besides, Ben really hits people hard; didn't you see her brother almost killed after just a few punches?
"I'll talk, I'll talk!"
"We're here to see Hope!"
"Magik!" Cable yelled angrily, furious that Magik had just revealed their target.
"Looking for the Charmcaster?"
"What do you want with her?" Upon hearing this, Ben stopped making a move.
However, these people dared to cause trouble, and they will certainly be punished accordingly.
The Plumbers had already arrived with their equipment. They attached a Subjugation Disc to each of their carotid arteries and then escorted them to the interrogation room.
Of course, magical power remains restricted.
After being hit by the neurotoxin several times, the White Queen and the others finally regained their clear vision.
His gaze toward Ben was now filled with awe and fear as he recounted the events in detail.
"That's more like it. You've been disrespecting me all this time." Ben, who had somehow changed into a suit, sat in a leather chair and even had Felicia snuggle in his lap, cosplaying as the Godfather.
"So, you're from another universe, and because the Mutants in that universe were wiped out by the Scarlet Witch using Chaos Magic, you want to use the Charmcaster and the Phoenix Force to revive the Mutants?"
"That's right, we have no intention of fighting against you; we just want to bring Hope back."
The White Queen is now awake. Although she still feels a burning pain from throwing up her child, she still manages to lower her head and speak.
"No!"
