The Gladiator Arena's underground cells.

Loki was thrown inside like a stray dog, his hair disheveled and his face covered in blood.

His miserable appearance startled the other fighters.

"Prince of Asgard? Nothing but a stray dog!" The guard escorting Loki sneered, then turned to Ben and said coldly, "You'd better watch yourself too!"

Ben covered his wrist and said innocently, "I've never seen him in my life. We just happened to be sent here together. Besides, I volunteered to become a fighter."

"You'd better be telling the truth!"

After throwing out those words, the guard left without looking back.

At that moment, the Little Broken Watch on Ben's wrist flashed and gave a ding.

The DNA of two different native species from Sakaar had been recorded.

Two different peoples lived on Sakaar. The higher-status group had red skin and belonged to the same race as the Red King. The other group was the silver-gray-skinned Shadow People, like the Caiera Ben had met earlier.

A few minutes ago, after Loki's insolence angered Sakaar's emperor, the Red King had ordered his collarbone pierced, his hands shackled, and him thrown in here.

Pain and humiliation left Loki unable to speak.

He lay on the ground, sucking in breaths through his mouth, his eyes reddened.

"Hey, brother, what happened to him?"

Two enormous figures approached.

Ben looked up and saw two very similar-looking Things. They had bluish-gray skin, bodies made of jagged rock, and their footsteps carried considerable weight.

Ben recognized one of them.

"He angered the Red King."

"That really is pretty miserable." Korg gave Loki a sympathetic look, then said, "My name is Korg, and this is my brother, Margus. On this planet, the Red King is the absolute ruler. Before you're prepared, it's best not to defy him lightly."

Margus
