Background / History
Lingyun was formerly the personal sword of an ancient Black-robed Sword Cultivator. In the sword’s inherited memories, its former master spent his life defeating experts, seeking the origin of the Sword Dao, and eventually integrating his lifelong Sword Intent into the blade to await a destined successor. Its legacy embodies the domineering principle of One Sword Breaks All Laws. 150
Shen Hao discovered the weapon at the center of the Sword Tomb in the Zi Xiao Mystic Realm. The sword’s Sword Intent initially rejected him, but it ceased resisting after he harmonized part of his Primordial Clarity Sword Intent with it. Shen Hao drew the black blade from the tomb and named it Lingyun. 146
After Shen Hao’s later journey to the East Sea Sword Tomb, a Sword Soul’s remnant merged with Lingyun. The blade gained an ancient pattern, blue radiance, and a deeper heart-to-heart connection with its wielder. 319
Appearance

- Produces three-colored light when channeling Shen Hao’s fused Sword Intents. 150
- Developed an ancient blade pattern and blue radiance after receiving the Sword Soul inheritance. 319
- Can manifest a cyan Qilin pattern when empowered by Dao-Breaking Sword Intent. 382
