Ch. 201Azhdaha's Defeat

Azhdaha survived his devastating attack on Laplace, Tia, and Forthman, but his depleted magicules left him vulnerable as the three clowns fought him together. Laplace put Clayman's purple necklace around the defeated Dragon King, and a faint blood-red color returned to Azhdaha's eyes.

  • Mo Li’s rising aura frightened Laplace, Tia, and Forthman, but Laplace decided they had to fight rather than wait to die.
  • Laplace rushed Mo Li with a killing strike, but Mo Li’s golden barrier stopped it, so Laplace ordered Tia and Forthman to attack while he sought a way through the barrier.
  • Tia and Forthman attacked Mo Li, but he dodged Tia’s punch, caught Forthman’s full-force blow, and kicked him down.
  • Mo Li drew the Piercing Rainbow Spear and outmatched the trio through hundreds of exchanges, kicking Tia away and sending Forthman flying.
  • Mo Li ended the warm-up by launching Laplace into the air and pinning him to the ground with a Rock Spear.

  • Azhdaha rejected Mo Li’s appeal to their contract and attacked him.
  • Mo Li fought defensively with martial arts because his magicules were low and Azhdaha’s body was difficult to pierce.
  • Mo Li transformed into a majestic dark-gold dragon, startling Azhdaha.
  • Azhdaha accused Mo Li of deceiving him about his true form and charged at him.
  • Mo Li and Azhdaha clashed in their dragon forms.

Ch. 210Suppressing Azhdaha

  • Mo Li and Azhdaha unleashed their strongest attacks, which canceled each other out, and Mo Li changed into human form.
  • Mo Li created enormous Hands of Rock that pinned Azhdaha down, despite Azhdaha’s protests that Mo Li was looking down on him.

Ch. 214Azhdaha's Sky-High Resentment

  • Mo Li realized Azhdaha's corruption had amplified his negative emotions, and decided he might need Rimuru's help to break Clayman's curse.
  • Mo Li asked Du Lu, White Crane, and Brown Crane to lend him magicules so he could temporarily seal Azhdaha.
  • Du Lu and the two cranes were shocked to learn that the turtle-like monster was Azhdaha, the Rock Dragon King.

Ch. 215White Crane, Master Conversationalist

Mo Li, calling himself Morax and the Emperor, restrained Azhdaha with a rock hand and sealed him inside a formation of six stone pillars. Afterward, Mo Li guarded White Crane, Brown Crane, and Du Lu while they restored their magicules, then listened as White Crane eagerly talked about her skills and clan.

  • Mo Li revealed that absorbing the three beasts’ magicules had restored less than thirty percent of his power, then told them to move away while he dealt with Azhdaha.
  • Mo Li pinned Azhdaha with the Authority of Rock and used six ancient stone pillars, a sealing formation, and his golden blood to imprison him.
  • Mo Li told Azhdaha he would release him if he found a way, then asked White Crane, Brown Crane, and Du Lu whether they would return to Tempest with him.
  • When White Crane explained that the three beasts had depleted their magicules, Mo Li guarded them as they recovered and restored his own strength.

  • Milim admitted she did not know another way for Rimuru to gain strength, and Rimuru dismissed her with honey.
  • Rimuru gave Milim a week's ration of honey and warned that Ari might take away her treats if she learned about Milim's behavior.

  • Rimuru decided to go shopping instead of reviewing documents, and Milim insisted on accompanying her.
  • Rimuru reluctantly agreed to take Milim and told her to stay close.

Ch. 219Rimuru and Milim Go Shopping

Rimuru took Milim shopping in Tempest, where Milim’s overeating and tantrum led to a long scolding. Milim eventually coaxed Rimuru into sharing her fruit tea by bringing up a previous, embarrassingly improper massage.

  • Milim offered Rimuru a half-eaten meat skewer while asking when they would reach Mo Li’s place.
  • Milim choked on a mouthful of skewers, and Rimuru helped her cough it up and gave her a fruit drink.
  • Rimuru confiscated Milim’s skewers and scolded her for nearly three incense sticks while Gobta won a barbecue bet from Gaviru.

  • Rimuru put her fruit tea into Milim’s mouth, and Milim drank it blissfully.

Ch. 220Finding a Scapegoat

  • Rimuru asked Dreya to explain the Great Storm Ogre, and Dreya revealed it was born from Veldora's magicules and was known as his son.
  • Benimaru and Besta explained that the Great Storm Ogre lacked intelligence and could summon and command Sky Sharks from another world.

Milim stayed behind with food but decided to seek helpers for Rimuru, while Raine and Misari continued investigating Tempest from Guy’s White Ice Palace.

  • Rimuru ordered Benimaru to command the subjugation campaign and entrusted him with Azhdaha’s golden dragon scale to lead the dragon lizard army.
  • Rimuru kept Milim out of the battle and distracted her with a mountain of food.
  • Milim resolved to ask Guy for Raine and Misari to help Rimuru.

Ch. 224Facing the Great Storm Ogre

Rimuru and Tempest prepared to face the Great Storm Ogre and his thirteen Sky Sharks, while Milim warned that the army could not defeat the Calamity-class monster. The battle began with Rimuru knowing victory would be difficult, even if she had to rely on Milim afterward.

  • Rimuru sent Milim away from the tense preparations so she would not distract the others.
  • Benimaru spotted the Great Storm Ogre approaching with thirteen Sky Sharks, and the army prepared for battle.
  • Rimuru felt confident in Tempest's forces, but Milim predicted that Benimaru and the others would lose without a Special A-rank fighter.
