As she looked at the young man standing before her, the silver-haired girl found him somewhat familiar. It was that nice-smelling person from the other day!

Havent stood before her with his sword held in reverse grip, frowning at the shrieking goblins.

Green-skinned goblins?!

Why were they here? That made no sense.

These weren't Abyssal monsters, so how could they be in the forest? This wasn't even near the border...

Obviously, no one was going to answer Havent's questions. Seeing that there was only one human boy, the cowardly goblins regained some of the courage that had just been scared out of them.

They howled and raised their weapons as they charged at the two of them. Seeing the goblins, who only came up to his chest, Havent narrowed his eyes, spun his sword in a flourish, and rushed forward.

His sword rose and fell, and two goblins collapsed clutching their throats.

"Ugh, it stinks! Is this stuff made of shit?"

Splashed all over by the goblins' green blood, Havent nearly threw up last night's dinner. He wanted nothing more than to rip off his clothes and throw them away immediately.

But the shrieking goblins gave Havent no time to complain. They charged at him with their battered weapons, and having suffered once already, Havent paid particular attention to his attack range when fighting them again.

A dozen breaths later, another seven or eight had been cut down. The goblins' mental defenses collapsed once more, and they fled the battlefield screaming, vanishing into the bushes in a flash.

Disgusted by those foul-smelling monsters, Havent had no interest in pursuing them. He turned and walked toward the silver-haired girl in the dirt pit. Severely injured, her face was utterly bloodless, pale as freshly peeled egg white.
