The female mage's face lit up with joy when she saw the male mage agree.
"Great! I knew I could trust you."
As she spoke, she deliberately—or perhaps unconsciously—pushed out her chest and leaned toward him. The male mage naturally wrapped her in his arms.
"Don't worry. I'll protect you."
The male mage's hands began to wander over her body of their own accord.
"But we need to find a way to break the tracking magic that Lady Celia—no, that old hag—cast on us. Otherwise, as soon as we leave the Magic Tower's five-hundred-meter range, that old hag will sense us."
Hearing his question, the female mage pulled herself out of his embrace.
"I have an idea. Later, we'll add berserk potion to the food for those green rats. Then I'll sneak into the old witch's room and steal the invisibility potion. You go to the storeroom and grab a few alchemical bombs. When the old witch comes out to deal with those green rats, we'll blow up the tracking array. Then we'll drink the potion and escape."
Listening to the female mage's meticulous plan, the male mage nodded.
"Then let's go. We'll feed those green rats outside first. Who knows where that old witch found those noisy little bastards? They eat, shit, and stink to high heaven."
Seeing the two of them heading toward the door, Havent quickly pulled his head back and poked Serena, who was spacing out beside him.
"Get moving, get moving. Quietly get to work."
