After resolving Longyanlei’s resentment, Sun Hang returned to Tianfu City as the Federation prepared for Eternal Night and announced new anti-Anomaly weapons. At the Hunter Rank Advancement Trial in Chunming City, he escaped the opening ambush and took Puppet Master hostage, then sought a way to survive the week without Tianshu Tower tracking him.

• Sun Hang discovered the missing Longyan Temple hunters had become invisible Anomalies, then found a Buddha statue whose injuries transferred to him through its severed head.
• Sun Hang traced Longyan Temple’s memories to Abbot Master Huisan’s death and arranged for Li Yuan, who had been Jueyuan, to be handed over to the resentful spirit Longyanlei.
• Longyanlei left Shu Province, but Tianfu City was devastated, and Sun Hang learned the Federation would celebrate him as a hero and attended a report on Professor Deng’s planned anti-Anomaly bullets.
• Sun Hang spotted a white shadow in Tianfu City, then joined the Hunter Rank Advancement Trial and flew with Yang Qi and other Hunters to Chunming City.
• Tianshu Tower began the seven-day trial by hunting the Hunters, and Sun Hang broke out of the floating port and disguised himself after landing in Ziwei Yuan.

Sun Hang survived the first trial stage and joined the expedition to Nameless Island, where the Eight-Headed Serpent scattered the hunters. As his companions waited in the woods, Sun Hang’s consciousness entered the island’s underground institute, where he found records that seemed familiar to him.

• Sun Hang helped the Puppet Master recover from low blood sugar, then faced Overlord and defeated him by trapping his feet and disrupting the air around him.
• Overlord transformed after his anomaly mutation accelerated, but a stronger anomaly corpse intervened and Candle Dragon froze him before Tianshu Tower took him away.
• Sun Hang refused to hand over the Puppet Master, took cash from Candle Dragon, and learned from him about the inherited Candle Dragon Meme and the Puppet Master’s name, Zhong Ling.
• Yin Xiang and the investigators pursued sightings of a white shadow, while Tianshu Tower restored Sun Hang’s account and briefed him on the second trial on Nameless Island.
• Yang Qi warned Sun Hang that the island’s Codename: Sun Chaser institute had become anomalous and that previous escapees had died, gone mad, or become infected.

Sun Hang and his companions crossed the anomalous forest and explored the research institute, uncovering the Anglo-Saxon Hunters’ search for a hidden embryo and clues to Sun Hang’s past. After surviving Xin Jiushiwu on Basement Level Two, Sun Hang followed the red lights deeper into the facility with the Fisherman and Yano.

• Sun Hang led Yano, the Fisherman, and Huangfu Sha through the distorted forest to the research institute, where they found the remains of earlier Hunters and evidence that the Anglo-Saxon group was seeking a secret underground.
• Sun Hang absorbed memories and abilities from the deranged Huntress, learning that the Anglo-Saxon Hunters had sacrificed a companion to obtain Curse Shielding and planned to explore below the ruins.
• After red Signal Flares summoned an imminent bombardment, Sun Hang, the Fisherman, Yano, and the wounded Huangfu Sha escaped into the railway tunnels, where Sun Hang found an Anglo-Saxon Hunter trapped in a wall.
• Sun Hang continued underground with the Fisherman and Yano, following messages in mechanical cameras that addressed him as someone who had returned to the institute.
• Sun Hang killed a grim Hunter and absorbed his memories, which revealed that the United States had learned of a Nameless Island embryo carrying a Primal Grade meme without mutating.
• Sun Hang learned from the grim Hunter’s memories that escaped anomalies had devastated the expedition on Basement Level Two, then used Liquid Metal to bypass the disabled elevator and descend with the Fisherman and Yano.
• Sun Hang trapped Xin Jiushiwu in the elevator and used his mycelium to drain the Spiritual Anomaly’s memetic influence, killing it and greatly increasing his Blue Bar.

Sun Hang uncovered the source of Nameless Island’s curse, escaped its collapsing institute, and learned more about his forgotten past. At Tianshu Tower, he accepted a leadership role before learning that Chimera Seventeen had escaped and Wang Xiyi might never wake.

• Sun Hang, Yano, and the Fisherman found a Tumi replica whose blooming could reset the island, and Sun Hang devoured its bud.
• Sun Hang and the Fisherman found a white-haired girl who called him her creator and transferred her remaining memes before dying as Anna Demoshina.
