Afterward, Sun Hang inspected anomalies at Tianshu Tower, while an anomalous television began altering what people saw and what the Tower’s systems recorded.

• Ye Xuan heightened security after Factory 105 lost contact, and Yang Qi dispatched troops and the Red-Haired Witch to investigate the facility.
• Ding Chao’s team found strange sounds on repeated radio frequencies, then Jiang Yu and Ling Xiao entered Factory 105’s Inner World through a ventilation duct and found Lilith chained up.
• Lilith joined Jiang Yu and Ling Xiao in searching the factory, where they fought a regenerating anomaly, found incubating spiders and discovered that the director’s record player was tied to the danger.
• Sun Hang entered the Inner World, fought through its layers and learned about the artificial hunter production workshop before defeating the man in the suit.
• Sun Hang, Jiang Yu, and Ling Xiao destroyed the record player that was causing the spatial distortion, ending the Inner World and returning to the real factory.
• Sun Hang brought Ling Xiao to Chunming City for an Ability User examination, then visited containment zones with Yuri and learned about Kui and Lucas before investigating an anomalous television.
• The television showed Sun Hang and Yuri as skeletons, and even after Sun Hang smashed and reassembled it, its footage and altered surveillance recordings suggested it had reached Tianshu Tower’s systems.

Sun Hang absorbed several Anomalies, rescued Ling Xiao, and returned to Tianfu City as the countdown to Chimera Seventeen’s hatching shortened. As the Insecticide Plan took shape, he faced a Hunter who had fully anomalized and spent the night with an exhausted Yang Lian.

• Sun Hang devoured the television anomaly and Kui Niu, then began testing his resistance to Crimson Spore toxin.
• Anomaly 549 escaped and trapped Ling Xiao in Building Three, but Sun Hang sent him a handgun and saved him by having him absorb B423’s Blood Mist.
• Sun Hang absorbed Crimson Spore, then flew toward Tianfu City with Ling Xiao and Miki Fukada, after Twin Balloons’ offspring attacked, he landed safely and healed the dying Spirit Exorcist.
• Sun Hang learned Chimera Seventeen had thirty-five days until incubation and joined the preparations in Tianfu City, where Miki Fukada traveled under the identity Tang Jing.
• At Sentry Post 307, Zhong Ling confronted the Black Robe Hunter Hawk after he attacked soldiers, and Sun Hang killed him by crashing into him.
• Sun Hang returned home with Zhong Ling, discussed his memories and Chimera Seventeen with Miki Fukada, and brought Yang Lian her cold meal.
• Yang Lian confessed her exhaustion, fear, and wish for intimacy before she died, and she and Sun Hang spent the night together, and the next morning he arranged leave for her and restored her strength with his life force.

Sun Hang helped develop the P.F.D.A. while investigating Chimera Seventeen’s attacks and a wave of civilian Anomalizations in Tianfu City. He eliminated the mall’s signal-blocking anomaly, but the videotape vanished, a reconnaissance squad encountered another anomaly, and the P.F.D.A. test plan advanced.

• Sun Hang helped Song Yarong test Tai Sui Hyphae as P.F.D.A. joint material, but the remote flight crashed and he warned her that Chimera Seventeen could exploit memories and attack again.
• After an engineer anomalized and attacked Song Yarong, Sun Hang discovered that Chimera Seventeen had used Zhao Ming’s imagined daughter to manipulate him and investigated cases of emotion-driven Anomalization.
• Anomalized civilians attacked Sun Hang’s villa, and he protected Yang Lian before finding a cultist whose contaminated water had triggered widespread Anomalization across Tianfu City.
• Sun Hang followed interference to a shopping mall, where he discovered that the videotape Terror Cruise was tied to a flesh-covered anomaly and destroyed the creature in the equipment room.
• Sun Hang arranged for the scavenger girl to receive help, kept the videotape anomaly secret, and searched a scavenger settlement for the dead man’s belongings, finding a diary about escaping a goddess.
• Sun Hang suspected the entity that had taken the videotape remained in Tianfu City as the 19th Reconnaissance Squad became trapped inside an anomalous building and Maxim was impaled.
• At Combat Readiness Base Four, a muscular man learned that the institute wanted him to test the P.F.D.A. prototype, while his organization awaited close contact with the Holy Ark.

Sun Hang and the Federation uncovered the Cult Organization’s plans around Chimera Seventeen while searching for Yao Yu and investigating A11. Wang Xiyi confronted a human fused with an Anomaly, and the arc ended with Ye Jiu attacking people at the institute.

• Wen Ya tested the P.F.D.A. armor, then Sun Hang killed him after Wen Ya entered the Seventh Threshold and identified Chimera Seventeen as the Holy Ark.
• Yao Yu escaped the testing grounds as the Federation searched Lihua Mountain, where Sun Hang tracked and killed a giant infected sniper who had been targeting the search team.
• The Federation captured Yao Yu, who explained that the Cult Organization had tasked him with getting Wen Ya selected for a Chimera Seventeen test and argued that humans should hunt and devour Anomalies.
• Sun Hang kept Yao Yu alive as a resource, while the Federation investigated Qiao Liu, A11, and the aquarium equipment linked to Qiao Liu’s bar.
• Wang Xiyi investigated Senyang Aquarium, fought an Octopus Anomaly, and fell into an underground lake where the Octopus Person tried to recruit her.
• Wang Xiyi burned the Octopus Anomaly but the fused person escaped, and Yang Qi found a sealed report about islanders who had grafted Anomaly organs onto themselves.
• Yang Qi discovered that Yao Yu had accessed the islanders’ fusion research file and ordered another interrogation, just as Ye Jiu began attacking people in Building 2.
