Arc 6The Southern Border Reckoning

Jiang Ping'an fought to secure the Southern Border, uncovered Pudu Mountain and the Zhennan Marquis Estate’s betrayal, and sought a way to restore Jiang Shuyue. As Pudu Mountain prepared an uprising and a huge demon beast tide advanced, he set out to intercept it.

  • Jiang Ping'an refused Emperor Qian’s offer to make him the Zhennan Marquis’s Young Lord, then led a small force into the Demon Realm and used the Xuandu Vajra Grand Formation to repel a vast beast horde.
  • Jiang Ping'an rejected Zhao Yingpeng’s offer to return to Pudu Mountain, fought him, and was trapped by the Buddha Lord, and Jiang Shuyue used the Soul Transformation Forbidden Art and lost most of her soul.

Arc 7The Northern Campaign and Beyond

Jiang Ping'an crushed the northern rebellion, defeated Pudu Mountain, and set out with Lan Yu for the Central Wastelands to pursue the escaped Buddha Lord. In Qingqiu City, he discovered the Azure Cang Wolves were enslaving humans and left to attack their stronghold.

  • Jiang Ping'an annihilated the beast tide at Mao'er Mountain, then returned with his forces to defeat the Zhennan Marquis Estate and drive Xuan Ming from White Emperor City.
  • Jiang Ping'an killed Zhao Zhenming, tested Liu Xixu's Array Cannon, and was appointed General of the Northern Expedition after refusing a truce with Pudu Mountain.
  • Jiang Ping'an led the northern army to victory over the Rakshasa Race, reclaimed territory, and received the title of State Duke Jiang and a fief.
  • Jiang Ping'an besieged Pudu Mountain with the Jingdao Palace Dao Lord and Old Black, destroyed its main peak, and fought the Buddha Lord until Lan Yu intervened and drove him off.

Arc 8The Founding of Ping'an City

Jiang Ping'an rescued hundreds of thousands of humans, founded Ping'an City, and led its allies through the Divine Origin Ruins. He returned with rare treasures and a Zhu Yan pet after helping the human and fox groups escape.

  • Jiang Ping'an and Lan Yu wiped out the Azure Cang Wolves in the Great Canyon, freed roughly six hundred thousand captives, and gathered support to build them a refuge city.
  • Jiang Ping'an recruited Human Race allies, organized donations, and led them to defeat an Azure Cang Wolf pack before founding Ping'an City on the Black Abyss River Plain.
  • Jiang Ping'an oversaw the city’s construction and land auction, then prepared to enter the Divine Origin Ruins with Lan Yu, Hu Yan'er, and Hu Hongzhuang.
  • Jiang Ping'an entered the ruins, met Shangguan Xue, and searched the misty depths for Enlightenment Tea Leaves.
  • Miao Yu guided Jiang Ping'an to an Enlightenment Tea Tree, where he obtained forty leaves and collected several other rare treasures on his way out.
  • Jiang Ping'an rescued Hu Yan'er after Hu Hongzhuang sacrificed herself to help her escape, then traveled with her toward the ruins’ exit.
  • Jiang Ping'an negotiated an alliance between the human cultivators and Princess Yunhua’s fox clan, agreeing that the foxes would share thirty percent of their gains and take human form.
  • Jiang Ping'an helped the humans and foxes break through the native creatures, held off the pursuers so the others could escape, and carried a Zhu Yan out as his pet.
