Background

Flower Fairies are born from flowers rather than a fixed plant species or location. After emerging, they instinctively travel to the nearest tribal gathering place, then alter plants to grow a flower-home for themselves. The Sea of Flowers Tribe lives among the glowing blue reeds beside South Lake. 30 31

They sleep during the day, emerge at night to drink dew, dance, and play. They hibernate by sinking into tree roots during the hot summer and again when winter freezes the ground, leaving them with little direct knowledge of either season. 31 139 163

Du Ke first encountered the tribe when the blue reed patch bloomed into a luminous Sea of Flowers at night. Initial spoken communication failed, but his Touch of Mind allowed him to understand Shawa Shawa and learn their identity, culture, and language. 29 30 31

The Sea of Flowers Tribe numbered 412 members when Du Ke documented it. Following repeated cycles of hibernation and growth, its population exceeded 600. Advanced Flower Spirits gradually developed defenses, orchards, thorn hedges, and a working relationship with Du Ke's Sea of Flowers Base. 31 259 297 411

Appearance

Flower Fairies are tiny, winged humanoids with a flower-like aesthetic. Their appearance changes substantially as they advance.
