Astronomy and Physical Characteristics

Feature Known information
Stars The planet orbits two fixed stars; their changing relative positions drive its seasons. 139
Moons The sky can contain several moons; Du Ke observed anywhere from none to four or five, without identifying a clear pattern. 93
Day length 24 hours, 42 minutes, and 36 seconds. 139
Year length 1,080 local days, equal to 1,111.5 Earth days. 139
Calendar Du Ke's Fantasy Solar Calendar divides the year into 36 months of 30 days each. 139
Seasons Winter: months 36, 1–2; spring: months 3–17; summer: months 18–20; autumn: months 21–35. 139
Size Estimated at roughly three times Earth's volume, with a radius near 10,000 km and a surface area slightly more than double Earth's. 230 231
Gravity Comparable to Earth's despite the planet's greater size. 8 231
Density and interior Its Earth-like gravity despite greater volume suggests low density; Du Ke speculates that it may be hollow within the mantle while retaining a flowing iron core. 231
Cosmic location The binary system is stated to be in the same galaxy as the Mind God Race, approximately fifty billion light-years away. 469

Geography

Known Regions

  • Earth ValleyDu Ke's original arrival point, located within the Great Blue Forest. Its coordinates are locked into the Mind Armor. 26 194
  • Great Blue Forest — A vast blue-colored primordial forest containing Blue Maples, Bomb Caterpillars, Magic Beasts, and early exploration routes. 6 26 79
  • South Lake and the Sea of Flowers — A lake and blue-reed region inhabited by Flower Spirits; the reeds bloom at night into a luminous “Sea of Flowers.” 29 30
  • South River Underground River — A subterranean refuge with vegetation, fungi, waterways, and surviving animals during the lethal summer season. 62 63
  • Dark Region / Mycelium Colony — Mushroom People territory centered on immense fungal-tree colonies and the Dream of United Thoughts. 64 65
  • Tranquil Continent — The main continent explored and developed by Du Ke's group; it contains the Meteor Dynasty, Troll tribes, and the Heart of Tranquility. 300 349
  • Sacred Mother Continent — Homeland of the Ancient Trolls and location of the Elf Kingdom observed by Fantasy One. 300 345 349
  • Heart of Tranquility — Central mountain range of the Tranquil Continent, inhabited by three Dragons and several Sacred Beast lairs. 349

Continental Layout

Fantasy One's mapping indicated that Tranquil Continent is surrounded by approximately four other continents. Several abnormal regions on those continents remain unaffected by normal seasonal changes and are believed to contain powerful civilizations or races. 349

Climate and Seasonal Cycle

The Fantasy World has extremely destructive seasonal shifts. Summer can reduce forests to deadwood, evaporate South Lake, and kill even colossal Magic Beasts; Du Ke recorded temperatures of 98.3°C and later noted surface conditions exceeding 100°C. 61 62 79

  • Summer — The two suns appear overlapped; surface life retreats underground, migrates, estivates, or dies. Hellfire manifests during this period. 61 62 153
  • Winter — Temperatures can fall to −100°C. Snow and ice may accumulate to depths of around twenty meters, while many creatures shelter in underground forest layers. 139 148 149
  • Spring and autumn — Forests rapidly recover, Bomb Caterpillars return, and the surface again supports dense vegetation and active Magic Beasts. 79 157
  • Seasonal refuges — Underground rivers, caves, and hollowed forest layers allow plants and animals to survive the most extreme conditions. 63 149

Magic and Life System

Magic Elements

Magic Elements are the defining feature separating the Fantasy World from Earth. They enable magical phenomena, sustain unusual life forms such as Hellfire, and appear to influence the planet's biological diversity and material properties. 98 154 204

  • Fantasy World organisms are generally carbon-based and have internal structures similar to Earth animals, but their DNA measurements differ from Earth's familiar double-helix model. 82 218
  • Plants, fungi, ants, and even lava can develop into intelligent or animate life under the influence of Magic Elements. 204
  • Materials and organisms brought to Earth often lose their exceptional properties or fail to survive because Earth lacks the required Magic Elements. 48 98
  • Du Ke later hypothesizes that the world's fundamental power may involve interaction with vacuum zero-point energy rather than dark matter. 406

Magic Classification

Du Ke initially classified observed magic into eleven categories, later expanding his system to sixteen categories by adding hypothesized types and the Mind Element. 39

Observed category Examples or known applications
Water Water Ball Rats and chameleon fish use water-based escape techniques. 82 125
Fire Hellfire and other fire-aligned creatures. 153 204

Summoning Flower Spirits can summon Beast Spirits. 39 204
Mind Added by Du Ke due to Mind Armor, Mind Power, and Touch of Mind phenomena. 39

Cultivation Hierarchy

Intelligent life is classified by both life level and tier. Cultivation can raise a being's tier but cannot overcome the innate ceiling of its life level. 66

Classification Order / correspondence
Intelligent life levels Divine Dragon, Spirit, Monster, Immortal
Cultivation tiers Common, Elite, Leader, King
Beast classifications Beast, Magic Beast, Spirit Beast, Sacred Beast—corresponding respectively to Immortal, Monster, Spirit, and Dragon levels. 66
Possible highest class Divine Beasts are rumored to correspond to gods, though their existence is disputed. 66

Native Life and Civilizations

Flower Spirits

Flower Spirits are tiny humanoid beings born from flowers. They inhabit the Sea of Flowers, hibernate through inhospitable seasons, and possess magic such as Purification. 29 30

  • Their stated lifespan is five winters and four summers before hibernation. 30
  • They organize into tribes, including the Sea of Flowers Tribe. 30
  • Shawa Shawa later evolves into a Rare Leader and gains additional Tree Spirit Guards. 348

Mushroom People

Mushroom People live within fungal-tree Mycelium Colonies, with individual Mushroom People able to merge back into these fungal structures. 64

  • Their society values peace and banishes or subdues carnivores within its territory. 64
  • Their shared mental realm, the Dream of United Thoughts, functions as a network for shared memories, knowledge, and spiritual exploration. 65 66
  • Mycelium Essence can improve mental strength. 64 67

Ant Spirits

Ant Spirits are an intelligent race apparently evolved from ants, organized around Ant Queens, Ant Kings, Elders, and specialized castes. 194 197

  • Soldier Ant Spirits, Worker Ant Spirits, and other Special Ant Spirits form a highly regimented underground society. 194 197
  • Pannish Town functions as a military barracks and factory, while Hard Rock Core City consists of interconnected subterranean structures. 197
  • Their civilization is characterized by Du Ke as Primitive Civilization because it uses powerful abilities without understanding their principles. 197

Trolls

The Blue-green Trolls of the Spike Tribe are Spirit-level beings descended from the Ancient Trolls of the Sacred Mother Continent. 300

  • The Spike Tribe belongs to the Meteor Dynasty and is protected by a Sacred Mother Tree. 300
  • Sacred Mother Trees possess the Power of Life and can connect the thoughts of Trolls. 300
  • Du Ke later establishes the You Xiong Tribe using a branch granted by the Spike Tribe's Sacred Mother Tree. 400

Exploration and Development

Early Exploration

Du Ke first crosses into the world through the Mind Armor's coordinates on October 1. He finds an immense blue forest and begins collecting biological and environmental samples while taking precautions against cross-world contamination. 6 8 10

After encountering magical creatures including Shield Crows and the Horned Roc, he formally names the world the Fantasy World. 8 11

Contact with Native Societies

Du Ke's early contact with the Flower Spirits at South Lake establishes a base of communication through Touch of Mind and leads to his first understanding of native magic, lifecycles, and advancement. 29 30 32

His later encounters with the Mushroom King reveal the Dream of United Thoughts, the world's cultivation hierarchy, and the broader existence of intelligent civilizations. 64 65 66

Magic Ball Research

Du Ke studies the world's climate, biology, materials, and magic through a scientific framework. His investigations include Magic Beast anatomy, non-Earth DNA structures, Instantaneous Movement, Water Escape Technique, Light Element Magic, Fine Gold, and the possible origin of Magic Elements. 82 125 139 201 204 406

Sea of Flowers Base

The Sea of Flowers Base develops from an exploration outpost into a major underground research and settlement complex on the Tranquil Continent. Its underground construction is necessary because Fantasy World summers are unsafe for humans. 194 453

  • The base hosts more than one hundred Troll Academicians, General Qian, trained Goblin laborers, and Flower Spirit agricultural support. 453
  • It develops Pioneer City, an underground city planned for 100,000 residents. 453
  • Research includes Magic Beast biology, magic-science integration, nuclear-radiation neutralization, advanced materials, and Essence Power cultivation. 369 453

Satellite Reconnaissance

Du Ke launches Fantasy One, a reconnaissance satellite intended primarily for mapping the planet's terrain. 327

Fantasy One maps the planet's broad geography but is destroyed after observing the Elf Kingdom, apparently by a being capable of detecting and attacking it from extreme range. The incident causes Du Ke's group to suspend immediate colonization plans and prioritize research into Magic Ball civilization. 348 349
