Nation E's Siberian Shatterdome base.

"Commander! Urgent dispatch from headquarters, General Jonathan wants to speak with you!"

"Open the holographic projection."

"Yes, Commander!"

General Jonathan's somewhat somber gaze fell upon Kabrovsky, this hulking figure once defined as "the enemy."

The people of Nation E were generally tall, strong, and imposing, and Kabrovsky was no exception. Nearly two meters tall with a burly physique, he was the perfect embodiment of the phrase "broad shoulders and a powerful build."

It was no wonder Jonathan was depressed. Every Kaiju attack was a major test for the PPDC, and a test for humanity itself.

If they passed, everyone rejoiced. If they failed, it meant a crisis of survival for humanity.

One Kaiju was already enough to give Jonathan a headache, and now two had appeared simultaneously in different locations. Who wouldn't be worried?

"Commander Kabrovsky, we are currently facing a tremendous trial, one that could be called a crisis of survival, affecting the integrity of the entire Pan-Pacific Defense Line, and even the future destiny of humanity."

"I need your help."

"I have already requested support from your Mr. Pudi in the name of PPDC headquarters, but I need you to help me persuade him."

"Although we've had many conflicts between us, and our relationship could be described as unfriendly, even hostile, at this moment we must put aside all prejudice. Everything, for humanity!"

"I understand. Don't worry, the Pan-Pacific Defense Line must not be breached; that is our common understanding. Mr. Pudi will not stand idly by."

Seeing the firm and sincere look in Kabrovsky's eyes, Jonathan felt a slight easing of his worry.

"I'm counting on you!"

Kabrovsky closed the holographic projection, sighing softly.

Not out of frustration with Jonathan, but for the fate-plagued humans.

"Heh, is this the punishment for humanity's excessive exploitation and abuse of resources!"

Kabrovsky shook his head, ceasing his useless contemplation. Now was not the time for repentance.

"Connect me to Mr. Pudi. Urgent communication, immediately!"

"Yes, Commander!"

Kabrovsky said to his secretary beside him.

"Commander, Mr. Pudi has approved your communication request."

Not long after, a reply came back.

Kabrovsky straightened the creases on his collar.

Mr. Pudi's projection appeared.

At this moment, he was still at his desk, diligently signing and reviewing documents.

Pudi looked up slightly, revealing a face that was stern and serious, yet not without approachability. His hairline was receding, and though he appeared quite old, he gave off the impression of being like Lian Po, who, despite his age, could still fight.

It seemed all the leaders of the various nations were like this: dignified yet approachable, except for Chuanpu.

"Jonathan sent me a request for aid. I was about to contact you."

Hearing this, Kabrovsky was not surprised. He only cared about Pudi's attitude.

"Then have you looked at their speculations regarding the Kaiju?"

"Oh, you mean those documents? I haven't looked at them; they're just lying on the desk."

"Then your... meaning is?"

Kabrovsky was a little confused. Based on his understanding of Mr. Pudi, he wouldn't stand by idly at a time like this.

Yet, he seemed to ignore the Kaiju speculation documents sent by PPDC headquarters, leaving Kabrovsky baffled and unable to guess the gentleman's intentions.

"Haha, there's no need for all this trouble. The mobilization of Nation M's Wanderer is a fact, isn't it? And the deployment of Z Nation's Taishan is also a fact!"

"Yes, sir. Wanderer is currently battling a Kaiju codenamed Stegosaurus off the west coast of Nation M. Taishan is being towed and is en route to the Hawaiian battlefield. It should be arriving soon."

"Since that's the case, what are we hesitating for? If it were just Nation M, I might indeed have reservations."

"But, for you soldiers stationed on the front lines, I trust you."

Closing the communication, Kabrovsky looked at the steel giant standing majestically in the base's main hall.

"Cherno Alpha, conduct final checks. Prepare for towing!"

"Yes!"

"Commander, what is this?"

The deputy commander, who had been standing by without drawing attention, walked over and asked.

"Our brothers are waiting for us!"
