Chapter Summaries

After Aha broke through the False Sky, Aeons cast their gazes across Teyvat, granting many people powers and strange transformations. Theresa decided to use a one-time concept coupon to forge a powerful Bangboo and began mixing an enormous assortment of materials in a cauldron.

• Zhong Li became a Preservation Emanator, while Mavuika and Jean received Preservation's gaze and several others across Teyvat gained powers from different Aeons.
• Cyno and Shut Up received the gazes of Aha and Fuli, Kinich gained Destruction's gaze, and Ajaw complained that he had not been chosen.
• Yae Miko, Acheron, Kirara, Keqing, Diluc, Varka, Pardo, the Moon Goddess Girl, Sandrone, and Chasca experienced further Aeon-related changes.
• The Stellaron Hunters discussed Aha's breach of the False Sky, and Theresa concluded that Teyvat had become a playground for lunatics.
• Theresa spent a hundred thousand Joy Points on a one-time I Think, Therefore I Am Concept Coupon and began forging a Bangboo by combining materials in a huge cauldron.

Theresa’s attempt to refine a Bangboo accidentally brought her bronze cauldron to life, and she forced it to transform into a bizarre armed Bangboo. Meanwhile, Yaoshi granted Ifa a healing power after witnessing his desire to help others.

• Theresa activated the Artifact Refining cauldron as bystanders watched it glow brighter.
• Ifa urged people to move away from the cauldron, and Yaoshi granted him the Healing Wind ability.

Theresa’s newly created Abstract Bangboo revealed its ability to transform into other Bangboo, while an Abyss Order invasion of Natlan began under magical-girl Aether. The group joined Mavuika in fighting the monsters, and Lumine returned to find her transformed brother on the battlefield.

• Bridgeblock Bangboo teased Theresa and the others by calling them its mommies before Theresa demanded it reveal its true form.
• Bridgeblock Bangboo transformed into Abstract Bangboo, which explained that it could become any Bangboo and grow stronger through absurdity.
• Abstract Bangboo transformed into Overtime Bangboo, demonstrated its resentment-fueled power, and then returned to its catgirl form.
• Aether led a horde of Abyss monsters toward Natlan as a magical girl, and Mavuika charged them on her motorcycle and blasted many of them away.

Aether, transformed into the magical girl Sister Air, led the Abyss Order’s attack on Natlan to obtain Abyss Power and repair Khaenri'ah’s Ley Lines. Lumine fought him with a Crystal Bow, but stood in his way even after her trick defeated the Abyss Mages.

• Aether told Lumine that he had become Sister Air after figuring something out and said his actions served Khaenri'ah’s revival and revenge against the Heavenly Principles.
• Lumine refused to let Aether proceed and summoned a pink Crystal Bow-Flower of Bygone Ages: Ode to Love?
• Lumine’s arrows formed a vast Flawless Dome, ricocheting into a skyful of elemental arrows that forced the Abyss Mages to defend themselves.
• Lumine fired a huge Anemo arrow that triggered elemental reactions among the Abyss Mages’ shields and knocked them out of the sky.

Theresa awakened Paimon’s abilities as Lumine’s Cooperator, allowing Lumine to break through Aether’s defenses. Lumine defeated and badly beat Aether, leaving him bruised and sprawled on the ground.

• Aether shrugged off Lumine’s elemental arrows with his Witch Shield and urged her to give up.
• Theresa attached an Astral Ring to Lumine, revealing Paimon’s Cooperator abilities and linking them together.
• Lumine asked Paimon to fight beside her, and Paimon activated a giant anchor and empowered Lumine with four divine halos.

Lumine and Paimon found Aether, but Haden whisked him into an Abyss rift before Dainsleif arrived and attacked his former master. After explaining Haden’s brutal training and refusing to surrender his Khaenri'ah memories, Dainsleif left with him, while Aether remained in the Abyss.

• Lumine beat Aether and prepared to question him, but Haden emerged from an Abyss rift and tossed him through it.
• Dainsleif arrived in a Galaxy Ranger outfit and struck Haden with an arrow, then pinned him down with a greatsword infused with the power of The Hunt.
• Dainsleif told Lumine and Paimon that Haden had subjected him to brutal training when he was a human knight captain five hundred years earlier.
• Haden demanded Dainsleif’s memories of Khaenri'ah for the Abyss Order’s plan to restore the nation, but Dainsleif refused and denounced the Abyss Order.

Theresa created a Tree of Abundance that let Natlan's warriors recover from Abyss corruption and injuries. She sent Xiao Bei to aid Stellaron Essence, and the Holy Dragon of Order prepared to unleash its breath as the allies retreated behind Zhong Li's protective wall.

• Theresa created a vast Tree of Abundance that healed corrupted and wounded Natlan warriors, giving them a place to recover and return to battle.
• Stellaron Essence returned to the tree after Abyss monsters overwhelmed her, and Theresa sent Xiao Bei with her to help Hajistar.

• Stellaron Essence ordered Xiao Bei to fire, and the dragon’s breath purified the Abyss Order and monsters across Natlan.
• The Hilichurls lowered their weapons as Xiao Bei’s breath purified them and returned their souls to the Ley Lines.
• Mavuika thanked Theresa, Lumine, and Paimon for their help and named Lumine Dumani, prompting the people of Natlan to cheer.

• Aether found Tirel in a cave, recognized her, and tearfully reunited with her over their old promise and the Spaceship Key.
• Tirel said goodbye and ran outside, where a Rifthound pierced her back; Aether killed it and caught her as she fell.
• Aether tried to carry Tirel to the tree in Natlan, but Zhong Li’s wall of Preservation blocked him until Zhong Li opened a gap.

• Aether explained that he treasured Tirel because he owed her a great deal, then recounted how they met across a five-hundred-year gap and how she became a Hilichurl after failing to avert Khaenri'ah’s calamity.
• March 7th was moved by Tirel’s story, while Stellaron Essence and Himeko joked about her luck and Aether’s embarrassment over his past magical-girl antics.

Citlali introduced Theresa and Himeko to her adopted grandson Ororon, who was shy around the strangers but loved caring for plants and animals. Theresa gave Ororon Haki Bees to look after and a new title, then magically grew flowers around Citlali’s home, leaving Ororon to discover her leaning close to his grandmother.

• Himeko teleported the Captain to the Masters of the Night-Wind’s territory, where Ororon eyed him warily.
• Himeko reunited with Theresa and Citlali, and the Captain explained his mission and wish for peace.

• Theresa and Himeko teleported Citlali and the Captain to the Sacred Flame Stadium, where the Captain demanded Mavuika’s Gnosis.
• The Captain declared that he would hand over his fate if he lost, and Mavuika agreed to fight him using only her own strength and Pyro Archon power.

• The Captain explained that he would not insist on obtaining the Pyro Gnosis after the Abyss crisis had been resolved, and said his remaining goal was to bring the souls in his heart to rest.
• Theresa asked who would accompany the Captain; Welt, Stellaron Essence, Lumine, and Paimon joined the journey while Himeko and March 7th stayed behind.
• Mavuika led the group to a Great Spirit's totem pole and warned them that the realm of the dead could be dangerous and must not be desecrated.
• Mavuika contacted the Night Lord through the Great Spirit, opening a rift that revealed wandering souls in the dark realm.

Citlali led Mavuika, the Captain, Theresa, and the others into the Night Lord Kingdom to meet the Night Lord. Theresa's power helped restore the Night Lord, who released the souls wandering the realm into the Ley Lines to await new life.

• Mavuika lit the dark realm with her flames as Citlali warned everyone to avoid evil spirits unless they had no choice.
• Citlali dispersed a corrupted spirit, and Theresa's platinum orb purified the surrounding evil spirits and calmed the Captain's restless souls.
• Citlali reached the Great Spirit Totem, and the Night Lord appeared as a black-and-purple butterfly to hear why they had come.
