Xu Yanwu did not even have a chance to react before a spear thrown directly from the sky by the Herrscher of the End pierced his chest and nailed him to the ground.

"Hurts hurts hurts hurts hurts hurts hurts hurts hurts!"

Nailed down by the spear, Xu Yanwu hurt so badly that tears nearly spilled from his eyes.

I was only joking when I said I'd be nailed to the pillar of shame! And now look at this—I've been pinned to the ground by a girl's big, thick, long one.

I only accidentally saw your blue-and-white stripes! Did you really have to be this ruthless?

"Headmistress, that man..."

Watching Xu Yanwu scream miserably on the ground, Mei could not bear it and softly asked Theresa, who stood before her.

Seeing the Herrscher of the End fly toward Xu Yanwu, Mei grew anxious. "Headmistress, Kiana, she..."

"But that man..." Theresa hesitated. He could completely devour Honkai Energy without even leaving behind the slightest fluctuation. Not even Herrschers could do that.

Yet Xu Yanwu's behavior... did not resemble someone capable of possessing such power in the slightest.

"You..."

Xu Yanwu watched the Herrscher of the End slowly approach. The fear in his heart steadily rose, his pupils shrank to pinpoints, and he roared.

"Don't come any closer!!!"

The Herrscher of the End felt as though she had been struck and sent flying by an enormous hammer.

A tremendous force came from Xu Yanwu's direction, yet it precisely landed upon every part of her body, directly shoving her away.

"The Herrscher of the End was sent flying? How is that possible!"

Himeko rubbed her eyes in disbelief. After confirming that she had not seen wrong, she murmured, "My God, what is going on?"

"Ha, ha?"

Xu Yanwu panted heavily, as though not a bit of strength remained in his entire body.

"Just now, I..."

Xu Yanwu's gaze was still somewhat unfocused. He seemed to feel that... he had blasted Kiana Herrscher away with a single sentence?

How could that be possible? That was the Fourteenth Herrscher—the Herrscher of the End! How could she possibly have been blasted away by a single sentence from a weakling like him? This had to be a joke, right?

Xu Yanwu spoke. The Herrscher of the End, who occupied Kiana's body, would not cry over Mei's death, but Kiana would.

But all that came from Xu Yanwu was the faint sound of air escaping.

Holding Mei in her arms, Kiana glanced at Xu Yanwu.

Xu Yanwu saw Kiana's despair, sorrow, and desire to die, as well as... in the reflection in her eyes, himself, reduced to nothing but a head.
