Su Hao uncovered Mi Hao’s betrayal, helped stop a catastrophic tsunami, and confronted New Star members hiding in a mine. After earning Merit Points, he settled into Jiangcheng University as he prepared to join its Battle Department.

• Su Hao enrolled at Jiangcheng University, then visited the Evolution Research Institute and reunited with Su Qing and Eevee, promising to adopt Eevee and find a complete cure.
• Mi Hao lured Su Hao toward the coast and conspired with Wilson to claim a bounty on him, but Su Hao exposed their betrayal and learned about the R Institute’s experiments and its plans involving the Sea People.
• When Chi Lang unleashed a Great Tsunami toward Magic City, Su Hao rode Articuno to the coast, where Articuno used Absolute Zero to freeze the wave until the Legendary Beasts could disperse it.
• Su Hao explored an abandoned mine, found Coalossal’s clan imprisoned by Chi Bi and Chi Xu, and defeated the pair’s Pokémon before freeing the prisoners.
• Su Hao tried to interrogate Chi Bi and Chi Xu about Chi Lang, but implanted devices killed them before they could reveal the New Star Organization’s base.
• Chu Ya arrived with Pokémon League investigators, explained how New Star’s chips killed defectors, and awarded Su Hao 300 Merit Points for capturing the suspects.
• Su Hao returned to Jiangcheng, chose Villa No. 15 with his Pokémon, and joined Jiangcheng University’s Pokémon Battle Department Class 1.

Su Hao joined Jiangcheng University’s varsity team, proved his strength, and formed closer ties with his teammates while training his Pokémon. At Lake Tower, he was separated from Articuno and sent into a parallel-world Trial, where he became acting Gym Leader of Cerulean Gym and began battling Inspector Joy.

• Su Hao joined the varsity team after Diancie defeated three reserve candidates, then battled Lin Daoyi and healed his Swellow with Tokiwa Power.
• Su Hao settled into villa life, planted a garden with his Pokémon, and battled his neighbor and vice-captain Li Xiao with Incineroar against Ceruledge.
• Riolu learned Aura Bullet and defeated Jiang Xiangyun’s Tsareena, prompting Long Ningyan to warn Su Hao that Riolu’s potential could attract people seeking to capture it.
• Su Hao and Li Xiao traveled to Lake Heart Island, where Zhao Caiwei opened Lake Tower for the varsity team and sent them inside with Alakazam.
• Su Hao awoke alone in darkness as Articuno confronted Mesprit, Azelf, and Uxie, who explained that Su Hao had entered a Trial in a parallel world.
• Su Hao arrived in Cerulean City, where Lorelei appointed him acting Gym Leader after she and Brock’s family were hospitalized with food poisoning.
• Su Hao accepted Inspector Joy’s two-on-two challenge and defeated her Chansey with Milotic before Joy sent out Latias against Diancie.

Su Hao stopped Team Rocket’s operation at Mt. Moon, earned Steven’s trust, and took in a Shiny Beldum. In Cerulean Cave, he discovered Mewtwo’s hidden laboratory and arranged treatment for Eevee before Dragonair evolved into Dragapult.

• Su Hao defeated Latias at Cerulean Gym, then learned Team Rocket was targeting the Clefairy clan and the Giant Moon Stone at Mt. Moon.
• Su Hao infiltrated Team Rocket’s plaza, freed the Clefairy clan, and fought Lance until Daigo and Drake arrived and the League arrested the Team Rocket members.
• Daigo entrusted his rejected Shiny Beldum to Su Hao, who began training it while staying in Cerulean City.
• Su Hao entered Cerulean Cave with Riolu, Beldum, and Eevee, discovered a concealed laboratory, and met Mewtwo among its cloned Pokémon.
• Su Hao told Mewtwo that Eevee had Genetic Collapse, and Mewtwo agreed to restore its genes if Su Hao supplied Life Energy.
• Eevee chose to evolve into Leafeon, and Su Hao agreed to help provide Life Energy for Mewtwo’s two hundred clones.
• Mewtwo created an Illusionary Space as Dragonair absorbed Life Energy and Giratina’s Power Seed, then protected the others as Dragonair evolved into a Mid Professional Level Dragapult.

Su Hao saved the World Tree, completed the Trial of Will, and returned home with Master Level Wave Power and a newly evolved Lucario. After preparing for the next trial and strengthening his team, he joined his school’s Crown Snowfield training expedition, where he discovered that his teammates had faked their weakness out of fear of their instructor.

• Su Hao chose Virizion’s Broken Horn for Eevee, helped Mewtwo prepare cloned Pokémon, and watched Beldum evolve into Metang with its implanted Destruction Gene.
• Su Hao’s Willpower Trial sent him to save the World Tree, where he joined Mew and Ash’s group while Mewtwo fought Team Rocket.
• Su Hao and Riolu restored Mew’s Aura, and Mew healed the World Tree as Riolu evolved into Lucario and the trial ended.
• Su Hao demonstrated Mega Evolution to Mewtwo before the trial sent him home, where Azelf granted him a blessing and announced the Trial of Knowledge.
• Su Hao learned about the Ultra Beast Pheromosa and signs of Terastallization, reviewed his team’s training needs, and resolved to grow strong enough to retrieve Articuno.
• Su Hao won twenty-nine consecutive battles with Lucario, then joined his school’s Crown Snowfield training expedition with Zhao Yunlan and Xia Xiaoguang.
• Su Hao reached the training site with his two teammates, discovered that they had pretended to be incapacitated to avoid He Jie, and arrived first at the assembly, where he spotted Tom Incineroar.
