Su Hao punished the R Institute members, captured three Genesect, and learned what he could from Charles before killing him. He then summoned Reshiram to blast a path through the Augusto Mountains, drawing the Great Britain Alliance’s attention to the institute.

• Reshiram tormented Charles and the other R Institute members with Blue Flare while Su Hao watched, and Metagross endured its Destruction Gene power for a minute before Leafeon put it to sleep.
• After the flames faded, Su Hao captured the three Genesect and questioned Charles, then killed him after hearing his intelligence.
• Su Hao found that the institute’s electronic and paper archives had mostly been destroyed, and he took the injured Genesect from Sophia in hopes they could lead him to the R Institute headquarters.
• Su Hao gathered the surviving researchers and security personnel, then ordered Reshiram to blast through the rock above them.

Auston uncovered R Institute’s brutal experiments in the Augusto Mountains and learned that the man posing as Charles was an impostor who had severely altered Ian’s memories. Meanwhile, Su Hao entered the Ore Kingdom and learned that Xiao Qi was grounded for secretly leaving, though Queen Diancie had planned to reveal the kingdom eventually.

• Auston found severely burned Pokémon and research records at the underground institute, then learned the facility was an R Institute branch led by a fake Charles.
• Auston’s subordinate reported that the fake Charles’s genes did not match Charles’s records and that Ian’s memories had been violently altered.
• Su Hao left the institute and traveled through a passage into the Ore Kingdom using the Sacred Diamond’s power.
• A-Yi welcomed Su Hao on Queen Diancie’s behalf and explained that Xiao Qi was staying home as punishment for sneaking out.

Su Hao arrived in the Ore Kingdom and worried that Queen Diancie’s public emergence would expose his secret. He learned that Diancie was undergoing an inheritance, stayed in the kingdom while she completed it, and Queen Diancie quietly hoped the Sacred Diamond would help her kin.

While inheriting the First Generation Queen Diancie’s memories, Diancie relived her battle against Yveltal and learned why she sacrificed herself to protect the petrified lives. Eighteen days after entering the Sacred Diamond, Diancie emerged and naturally reached the Elite Four realm.

Su Hao left the Ore Kingdom and returned to the surface, as the world continued debating Gigantamax and Mega Evolution and wondering where he had gone.

• Diancie completed its breakthrough to Elite Four Level and sensed a powerful force being nurtured inside it.
• Diancie reflected on its mother, the First Generation Queen Diancie, the Pokémon statues, and Yveltal before Su Hao called it back.
