As chaos first opened, spiritual energy overflowed between heaven and earth as though tangible. Light and mist intertwined, forming a dreamlike yet perilous world. Hu Shu felt the world spin around him, and when he finally steadied himself, he found that he was in an unfamiliar place.

A group of panicked humans surrounded him. Their clothes barely covered their bodies, and their eyes were filled with terror and confusion. Hu Shu looked down at himself and saw that he too wore rough hemp clothing. Looking up again, he saw strange lights flashing across the distant horizon from time to time, accompanied by dull rumbles, as if terrifying forces were clashing. The flames of the Tribulation of Witches and Demons seemed to be creeping closer, and the Human Race now faced an unprecedented crisis of survival.

Hu Shu took a deep breath and tried to calm himself. Having weathered many hardships in modern society since childhood, he had developed an unyielding character. Though trapped in desperate circumstances, he was unwilling to give up easily. He surveyed his surroundings. Beneath Shouyang Mountain, the Human Race settlement was in chaos. The terrain was rugged and overgrown with trees, while the light from the distant battle between the witches and demons flickered across everyone's faces, brightening and dimming as it deepened their fear.

"Everyone, don't panic!" Hu Shu shouted, trying to steady their emotions. "Let's think of something together!" Yet his voice seemed so insignificant amid the crowd's cries that it was almost instantly drowned out.

Hu Shu understood that the Human Race was like ants in a storm, liable to be wiped out at any moment. He began looking around and found that some humans had been injured by fallen branches, while others were too weak from hunger to stand properly. Meanwhile, the aftershocks created by the battle between the witches and demons were gradually spreading toward them.

Hu Shu forced himself to remain calm and tried to understand the situation. He grabbed a somewhat older member of the Human Race and urgently asked, "Elder, what exactly is happening?" The old man replied in a trembling voice, "Child, this is the Tribulation of Witches and Demons. The Witch Demon Races are at war, and our Human Race is merely a pitiful race struggling to survive in the cracks between them. Now the flames of war are about to reach us. I fear... I fear none of us will survive!"

Hu Shu's heart sank. Though he had some knowledge of the situation in the Primordial World, only now that he was truly within it did he understand the Human Race's hardships. Looking at the despairing faces around him, he was filled with confusion and helplessness. He was merely a transmigrator. How could he possibly change all this?

Yet the resilience in Hu Shu's bones would not let him surrender. He began moving through the settlement, trying to find some way to help the Human Race survive this crisis. He discovered that most of the humans here had no concept of cultivation at all. Faced with the conflict between the witches and demons, they had absolutely no power to resist.

Hu Shu struggled to recall what he knew about the Primordial World, trying to find a sliver of hope. He realized that if the Human Race wanted to survive in these chaotic times, they had to increase their strength as quickly as possible. But how could that be easy? Resources were scarce, and there were no Cultivation Methods. Everything seemed like an insurmountable mountain.

Just then, Hu Shu saw several children gathered around an injured wild rabbit, their eyes filled with longing. An idea stirred in his heart. Perhaps he could begin with the most basic survival skills, teaching the Human Race how to obtain food and survive in this harsh environment.

He walked over and gently said to the children, "Children, let's think of a way to heal this rabbit. Then it can help us find more food, all right?" The children nodded, seeming to understand only vaguely.

Hu Shu began treating the rabbit's wounds. As he worked, he explained to the surrounding humans some simple methods of bandaging injuries and finding food. Gradually, people gathered around him, and a spark of hope began to kindle in their eyes.

Hu Shu knew this was only the beginning. If he truly wanted to change the Human Race's Destiny, a long and arduous road still lay ahead. Yet he had already made a silent vow: no matter how many difficulties awaited them, he would lead the Human Race to find a chance at survival in this Primordial World.

As time passed, the aftershocks of the battle between the witches and demons grew increasingly violent. The surrounding trees began to shake fiercely, and huge rocks rolled down from the mountain. Hu Shu realized that danger was drawing closer step by step.

He swiftly organized the Human Race to search for somewhere to hide. Yet the settlement beneath Shouyang Mountain was far too crude, with no suitable shelter at all. Seeing everyone panic, Hu Shu was frantic with worry.

At that moment, a soul-chilling roar suddenly sounded from the distance. It seemed capable of piercing one's very soul and making every limb go weak. Everyone stopped what they were doing and stared blankly toward the source of the sound, their eyes full of fear.

Hu Shu understood that a powerful being was likely approaching them. He clenched his fists, and a resolute determination rose within him. "Don't be afraid, everyone! I'll find a way to protect you!" he shouted, trying to instill a little courage in them.

Yet faced with an unknown and powerful being, Hu Shu himself had no absolute confidence. But he knew that he was now the Human Race's pillar. No matter what, he could not retreat.

The roar drew closer and closer, and the ground began to tremble violently, as though some colossal creature were rapidly approaching. Hu Shu stood before the crowd, staring ahead with unwavering eyes as he prepared to face the coming crisis.

Just as Hu Shu was at a loss, another soul-chilling roar suddenly came from the distance. It seemed that a powerful being was approaching them. What would become of Hu Shu and the Human Race?
