Hu Shu led the Human Race back to the camp on Shouyang Mountain. Upon arriving, he immediately summoned the Human Race elders and several important clan members. Looking at the assembled group, Hu Shu said with a grave expression, "Although we repelled the enemy this time, they will surely return. We must quickly discuss countermeasures. Everyone, share your thoughts." Hearing this, the group fell into deep thought, and a discussion concerning the future of the Human Race began.
After a period of intense discussion, they initially formulated some short-term defense strategies, arranging for clan members to take shifts and strengthen patrols around the camp. Simultaneously, they began preparing simple defensive structures to deal with potential future attacks.
After the group dispersed, Hu Shu stood alone at the edge of the camp, gazing into the distance, his mind filled with a myriad of thoughts. The reappearance of the Mysterious Elder during this battle left him full of questions. Who exactly was that elder? Why had he appeared twice to help at critical moments? These questions swirled in his mind.
Hu Shu knew deeply that for the Human Race to establish a lasting foothold in this perilous Primordial World, he had to understand the reasons behind these events. Thus, he decided to seek out the Mysterious Elder again to uncover the truth.
Hu Shu followed the direction the Mysterious Elder had departed. Along the way, he cautiously observed his surroundings, not missing any hint of abnormality. As he ventured deeper, the environment became increasingly secluded, with occasional, unidentifiable beast roars echoing through the silent forest, adding to the eerie atmosphere.
After walking for an unknown duration, Hu Shu arrived at a hidden valley. Strange rocks, varied in shape, lined the valley sides; some pierced the sky like sharp swords, while others crouched like fierce beasts. A faint mist permeated the valley, shrouding it in a veil of mystery.
As Hu Shu stepped into the valley, an ancient and weathered aura washed over him. He carefully observed his surroundings, not overlooking any corner. On a stone wall in the valley, he discovered some peculiar markings. These markings looked like some form of ancient script, yet he had never seen them before.
Continuing along the stone wall, Hu Shu found fragments of broken artifacts on the ground. Judging by the material and style of these fragments, they appeared to have a long history. He crouched down, picked up one piece, and examined it closely in his hand, trying to find some clues.
Just then, a gentle breeze blew, causing the mist to dissipate slightly. Hu Shu keenly sensed a faint fluctuation of Spiritual Energy emanating from the depths of the valley. His heart leaped with joy, and he quickly moved towards the direction of the Spiritual Energy.
As he approached, the Spiritual Energy fluctuation became more pronounced. Hu Shu quickened his pace, passing through a dense forest, and a dilapidated stone house appeared before him. Moss covered the walls of the house, and several parts of the roof had caved in.
Hu Shu cautiously entered the stone house, where a scent of decay filled the air. In the center of the house was a stone platform, upon which lay a yellowed ancient book. He stepped forward and gently opened the book, discovering that it recorded some deeds of an Ancient Great Power.
However, most of the content in the ancient book was blurry and indistinct, allowing him to barely make out a few fragments. From these fragments, Hu Shu inferred that this place seemed to have a close connection with an Ancient Great Power, but the specifics remained unclear.
Hu Shu continued to search for other clues within the stone house but found nothing. He walked out of the house and looked at the valley, pondering in his mind. Why would the Mysterious Elder appear near this place? What was his connection to this Ancient Great Power?
Although he had found some clues, the truth was still far from being revealed. What was the connection between the Mysterious Elder and the Ancient Great Power? And how would this affect the future of the Human Race? Hu Shu knew deeply that the responsibility on his shoulders was immense, and the future of the Human Race might depend on unraveling these mysteries.
